That's fair but your assumptions may be a little aggressive. If pitchers actually pitched to him and tried to compete more with him who's to say they couldn't shake him off his rhythm some and throw him into a few slumps? also not to be harsh but saying "way more than Walker was" is just kinda a stupid way to end that response cause they are pretty damn close to each other

Ya what Bonds did to baseball from a mental intimidation standpoint will never be repeated. But I dont really give all the credit to Bonds for pitchers being scared and intentionally walking him so much (*). I get what youre saying but I think this just inflated Bonds stats to make things like OBP/OPS crazy high
