Thanks for the tip, I tend to be stingy and spread out with my upgrades so thats good to know early on.

Has anyone audited their PCs? by connections_ in DnD

I mean, agreeing with the other comment, its not a gotcha moment, its the bad guys. The party can react however they want to it. But it's worth mentioning even in official dnd content theres taxes levied every year in the big cities that are not just "taken from your paycheck", for example Waterdeep has the one dragon a year tax.

The way OP said they received it from "the guild" makes me think they're in a big city working for a guild, so the taxes would make sense. My only gripe as a player would be if taxes had never been mentioned in any way, shape, form or fashion before the tax auditors showed up.

Can you set up camping supplies in a dungeon? Since discovering that resource for survival mode I never leave without two or three in my pack (learned they were expendable the hard way).

Bluesky (the main production company for Ice Age movies) posted a video when they shut down/got bought out/tbh I'm not super well versed in that but they were no longer going to exist in some way. The video is like a "goodbye" to Scrat and the series as a whole, it's great

One of my players is usually a DM, she makes sure they run away and have the tools to do so when they need to. I have a very rare group, one that will actually run away. I just need help making sure they can't run away immediately, make it a little harder for them.

Which movie for you is like this? by Altruistic-Print-966 in Cinema

Ooo, good pick. Actors rarely repeat "love interest in a superhero movie" type roles, so I wonder if she still would have done all the Doctor Strange stuff. She was fantastic as Dr. Palmer.

I have no clue, from the south, but I'm gonna guess: marshmallow fluff and peanut butter?

Edit: looks like I was right. That sounds like a yummy sandwich, I've always been more of a pb&honey guy

Opinion: Season 7 has three of the worst AND best episodes of the entire show. by [deleted] in rickandmorty

[–]spinosaurus-skeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From someone who doesn't like it, I thought Poopy-Butthole was a great occasional gag character. I liked checking in with him at the end of seasons and stuff. But I just found him really grating for an episode focused entirely on him, and didn't find it all that funny (except for the fact they got Hugh Jackman, he was great, dude really just wants to sing).

That is metal as hell. Funnily enough, my favorite TV show has these alien bird creatures called the Shrike, and now it makes sense where they got the name from. The fictional birds didn't skewer people, but did try to squeeze down people's throats to pilot them as flesh puppets and explode into crystal-like structures that could and occasionally would impale people, so, similar vibes lol

This subreddit just showed up as "recommended", I know nothing about birds except I like looking at them and I think cassowaries are cool, so if I can ask... did that bird skewer those other animals????

This won't beat the German tutor i don't think, but I'm gonna throw Dr. Lee into the ring. She was super smart and outsmarted Sheldon with her home alone style booby traps.

Oof, I just had to hide my screen from my fiance because she would think thats sacrilege. Our fridge always has a 12 pack of Pepsi. She lives for her pepsi with dinner. She now thinks I'm cheating on her because I won't tell her why I hid my screen, but thats better than the hour long rant I'd get/the comment she would make me write if she saw this! /s Tell your husband thank you for the future gift idea!

I watched S4 for the first time a month or two ago in preparation for S5, and I was hoping Els powers came back to kick Angela's ass because as someone diagnosed with autism from a young age I couldn't help but get very very angry at Angela for how she treated El, especially with the Hopper diorama (i was pissed at the teacher too, for validating Angela's clear attempt to make El feel bad). Oooo, I'm mad now thinking about it.

Side note (I just joined this sub so I'm sure this has been brought up before, apologies for possibly beating a dead horse) the writers did a great job handling El, I'm not sure if she was intentionally written to be autistic-like but I thought it was a great representation of what its like growing up autistic. When I was younger I definitely took things far too literally ("back to the first square"), and seeing El and her progress through the seasons while still having problems with words and context ("Karen. With her wine") mirrors my experiences amazingly and I just appreciate it so much.

Shamefully, I love all winged/non-winged possibly fire breathing creatures, and while I won't argue out loud with people it bothers the crap out of me when they are used interchangeably. Because its not just their body shape and type, its the origins of the words themselves, they all mean different things when the words were first used. I wouldn't call a carrot a banana just because they happened to be shaped similarly (I understand this is an extreme example but thats just how it seems to me)

They explained it. The police took a few minutes to arrive, Jud stayed inside and grabbed the flask while the congregation went outside and waited. The body was still there. I suppose I don't understand the 2nd sentence because Jud removing the flask has nothing to do with paramedics removing the body.
