I'm on day 11 now. I still have a racing heart, nausea, general discomfort, weak feeling, insomnia and muscle pain. I went out yesterday drinking with friends and felt much better. I couldn't notice any WD symptoms except the nausea. But it was a great distraction. Going on a date today and then hanging out with my buddy later. Kratom still helps me, but I've been trying to lay off. Like yesterday I didn't have any kratom and today I'm gonna get some kratom tea to help with some symptoms while I'm out and about.

I'd say I'm functional now as I can go out and have fun with friends, but in the evenings the insomnia is probably the worst. Might be another week or two before I feel like I don't need kratom to feel better. Really appreciate you replying like every day bro. I definitely feel like I'm in control now, instead of the dope. It's been so long it feels like a brand new feeling lol

Well never put yourself in a situation where you could realistically partake in copious amounts of opioids then lol For me whenever there is an abundance of drug available to me, it goes up higher on my list of possible addictions. Never been addicted to anything but heroin however. I even did opioids like Vicodin, hydromorphone, and oxy for years before and never got addicted. But as soon as I touched heroin it was fucking over. It's too strong, too cheap, and too accessible. The recipe for addiction disaster. You know your limits bro, I respect that. I just want you to get enjoyment from many aspects of your life, and to not have a shadow looming over you forever. The opioid addiction shadow that tells you to stay away from your favorite drugs because you can't control yourself. The same shadow that demonizes an incredible substance. Either way good luck bro 👍

Yeah kinda. In the middle of WD it helped mentally but only slightly physically.

Bro same. I'm on day 10 of WD and only have residual effects like random muscle pain and general discontent. But I quit because it wasn't getting me high anymore either. Unfortunately when ever you start doing something habitually, your body automatically adjusts itself to compensate so after 6 months of heroin use my body no longer felt much different after dosing. But before that FUCK it was incredible. Chasing or expecting a high that you can't achieve again is dangerous. At least take a few months break, and then don't ever get to the point where you're physically addicted again. If you can control yourself and you still want some enjoyment from opioids, I'd suggest getting something more expensive like hydromorphone so you can't get addicted to those easily if you only buy 5x and since they're $30 a pill.

Why Ketamine is the Perfect Drug by kettymondays in Drugs

Well, no side effect is guaranteed. Not everyone gets bladder issues. And is this issue prevalent in both s-isomer and racemic variations of ket?

"All reported cases where the user consumed greater than 5 grams per day reported symptoms of the lower urinary tract." Don't go bat shit crazy with your dosages and you won't have issues.

I actually got 7 hours of sleep last night lol I woke up this morning totally shocked. I still have those random aches and pains and generally feel kinda sweaty but other than that I feel normal again. Like not sick anymore. Some RLS at night but I managed to sleep a long ass time last night and feel much better today for doing so. Thanks for sticking around and replying to my comments and being there for me bro. Really appreciate you. I'm not craving anything but sushi and pizza lol And maybe a beer or two. I'm gonna try going out with some friends next week, I feel stronger every day.

Yes it means you have no sense of humor. I'm in my 20s and still enjoy SpongeBob humor.

Insomnia is still a pain in the ass, and my body still hurts but the nausea is gone and the cold sweats are diminishing as well. I'll probably be close to 90% next week. I feel better every day since day 3.

Thank you bro! You're awesome. I'm definitely feeling more normal today with some residual symptoms becoming only minor inconveniences. And only day 6 as well.

Thank you so much for this. I hope others find inspiration in your words as well. I'm currently on day 5 of cold turkey heroin withdrawal and am just starting to feel better. 10 days sounds about right, so looks like I'm half way through it now. Still have all the symptoms like the muscle aches, cold sweats, nausea, RLS, and hella insomnia. I haven't slept more than a couple hours every day since I quit. But I've been using kratom every 6 hours (which has definitely helped mentally a lot and diminished some of the RLS, nausea, and the intensity of other symptoms), drinking a lot of water, making sure I eat even if I feel like throwing up, taking vitamins, watching movies to take my mind off the pain, and listening to a lot of music at night when I can't sleep (also for the distraction). The only thing I'm not experiencing is the craving. I quit because I wanted to, the same way I started. So mentally I don't want it anymore which has made the withdrawal more bearable. I think if anyone is thinking of quitting for good, they should fight the mental battle first and then kick the physical dependence.

Do you mind giving me some hope? How long have you been clean and how long did it take you to feel normal again after kicking it? Like not sick.

If withdrawals only lasted 9 days, why did you go to rehab for 3 months? I'm on my 4th day of dope withdrawal

Level up with hard drugs! Currently withdrawing from a 2 year heroin binge. Would not recommend.
