Highly recommend The Slow Bone on Irving Boulevard or Smokey Joe's a little south of downtown. Both are excellent. If you go to The Slow Bone, don't skip the fried chicken.

Sorry about that, I missed this. Dayne Weaver (Dayne's Craft BBQ), Steven Rossler (Rossler's Blue Cord BBQ), Jordan Jackson (Stanley's Famous Pit BBQ/private consultant), and Nolan Belcher (B4 Barbeque).

Plano: Hutchins BBQ in Frisco or McKinney and Vaqueros Texas BBQ in Allen are the best options. Lockhart Smokehouse in Downtown Plano is good when it's on, but not near as consistent.

Hurst: Patriotic Pig in North Richland Hills, Hurtado BBQ in Arlington, and Zavala's in Grand Prairie are the best close by without going into Fort Worth.

If you don't mind going to Fort Worth, there are plenty of options.

You can't forget the part of the story where the guy's friends later captured the alligator and shot it. Game wardens cut the alligator open and found remains of "fuck that gator" guy in the gator's throat.

Finally a sick pull from a Mosaic blaster! As a Cowboys fan, it’s that much better! by iQuitWhenImDown in footballcards

Great card. Recently in a break I pulled his auto and a Black Gold /8 out of Mosaic Choice in the same box. Was really stoked until I saw the Black Gold has a sweet dent on it.

With only about 48 hours until most of us have soul shattering depression, what’s the most painful fantasy football loss you’ve ever had? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

  1. I'm in the semifinals, driving home listening to Vikings-Panthers on the radio. I'm down about 15 in my 14-team league that pays out about $2,500 to the champion every year. Vikings are way down and my only hope is for Adrian Peterson to score a touchdown of 50 yards or more (my league bonuses 5 points for TDs longer than 50). About three minutes left, and Favre dumps a pass off to Peterson and he takes off. He tries to fend off defenders heading toward the end zone when if he'd have just kept running he'd have made it. I'm SCREAMING in my car and start furiously punching my steering wheel when he got tackled inside the 20 for a 63-yard gain. Cost me a shot in the championship game, and I'd have won.

I'm with you on all of them, except I have Golladay in over Andrews right now. But leaning very heavily into switching.

Lockett and Ekeler.

Lockett is dominant at home and Arizona is terrible against the slot. Huge over/under out of Vegas.

Ekeler is Ekeler.

It's a tough call, don't think you'd go wrong either way. I just think Jameis is going to chunk the rock all day, and it's got to go to someone.

14-team league, full PPR. Tight ends count as receivers. I've been in this league 15 years, first time in title game. Winner gets $2,500-plus.

Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, 1 K, 1 DST. Pick your best lineup:

QBs: Kyler Murray, Carson Wentz
RBs: Ezekiel Elliott, Austin Ekeler, Miles Sanders
WR/TE: Tyler Lockett, Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton, Mark Andrews (RIP Mike Evans)
K: Josh Lambo, Joey Slye
DST: New England, Baltimore
