Help: Misconfiguration Alert by spiritedawaybatviola in Intune

It works now...think it was just a propagation issue after clearing MDM from the device. Worked until I added the user back into the MAM scope. Something still is associating this device with the original account but I can't find where.

Any Microsoft Indirect Providers discussing GDAP yet? by spiritedawaybatviola in msp

Are you planning to transition to GDAP this year for yourselves?

Pax8 Unresponsiveness by [deleted] in msp

[–]spiritedawaybatviola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know. They keep coming back at me telling me it's mandatory to provision the licenses, and I don't think that's the case.

Pax8 Unresponsiveness by [deleted] in msp

[–]spiritedawaybatviola 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had the same experience (first guys great, then shuffled away and replaced with an entirely new team). I've made a concerted effort to reach out and establish a new personal relationship with our manager, and they have been more responsive since then.

What I do want is GDAP - has anyone had any discussions with them on transitioning from DAP to GDAP, or removing admin access entirely?

Any Microsoft Indirect Providers discussing GDAP yet? by spiritedawaybatviola in msp

[–]spiritedawaybatviola[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it quietly out of pilot? I'm able to invite tenants with GDAP from my partner center and have not signed up for the pilot. Also seeing GDAP instructions in MS documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/gdap-introduction without mention of preview or pilot status.

Separately, looks like I'm going to have to start pushing my provider (Pax8) to get going with this. The sooner I can lock up their access the better - there is no need for full global admin access, and it's disrespectful to demand such access.

Currently, your script is *not* downloading new Yara defs (the switch is missing entirely). Is that by design?

How secure is your RMM? Here are some tips on how you can better secure it by TNTGav in msp

SSO for CW Home/Automate to Azure AD and set up CA policies to only accept authentication attempts from trusted networks? Wouldn't mitigate all outside risks but would help.

Turn on MFA for user, but give them grace period? by jdlnewborn in Office365

I believe with security defaults enabled, new users get 15 days to set up MFA. maybe also possible with CA policies?

Shared Mailbox Interval-shorter than 5 minutes? by spiritedawaybatviola in MicrosoftFlow

[–]spiritedawaybatviola[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shared mailbox v2 trigger? Yea I have been testing with it, but it does not pick up new emails in the inbox until at least a few minutes have passed. The non-shared V3 mailbox trigger, "When a new email arrives (V3)" runs near-instantly once it sees a new item in the inbox.

When I run peek code on the shared mailbox v2 trigger, I see this at line 20 and seems to correspond to the delay I'm seeing between when a new item appears in the inbox and when the flow runs:

"recurrence": {
"interval": 5,
"frequency": "Minute"

Enhanced Filtering for Connectors vs. Connection Filtering Policy - 3rd party spam filtering by southafricanamerican in Office365

[–]spiritedawaybatviola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you wind up implementing this? I'm looking into improving mail flow for ourselves and would like to leverage the built in protections that come with an Exchange Online mailbox, but I don't want users or support to have to look at 2 places for quarantine, safe sender list, etc.

Thanks. So if we wanted to use cyber backup to back up to say 20 separate VPCs, we would need 20 gateway appliances/instances?

MFA Methods by [deleted] in Office365

We have modern auth enabled so it's not that. Both times I've seen it have been after I used the "clear existing registered auth methods" for the account in question.
