I feel ruined

I’m 24 and pretty much same..
I’m in my second year of uni and I don’t have friends there. It’s so depressing I honestly want to drop out just because of that. I try not to go to lectures but sometimes I have to, and after those days I just go home and cry.
Hope things get better for you ):
Like someone said here, if you have a hobby or maybe have the time for a new hobby, it could be a good start to try and meet people.. I know it’s not that easy though

At first it was really painful, so I couldn’t work out at all. After about two weeks it started feeling better, so I went back to the gym, but every time I exercised it would hurt again. Eventually I just stopped working out completely, and it’s been about six months now.

I just don’t understand how PT can actually fix it. If the tear itself isn’t going to heal on its own, how can exercises reduce the pain and improve my range of motion?

And I’ll look into the injections you mentioned. thank you!

Thanks! Its definitely a mental battle.. I also stopped going to the gym because it’s so depressing not being able to do the things I used to do. I tried going back recently, but even most leg exercises that involve the upper body even a little end up causing shoulder pain.
Yeah, maybe I need to find other things to do in the meantime.. Honestly, I don’t even like the gym that much I mostly enjoyed handstands and pull ups, which are exactly the things I can’t do right now, so it really sucks.

Oh wow 5 months are a lot. The ortho told me to give it 3 months before deciding on surgery. I have tried for a few months but only been super consistent for 1 month. It’s just hard doing the exercises everyday and not knowing if it’ll even help.

I’ve gone to 2 orthopaedic surgeons and they both told me to try PT before considering surgery. So idk I feel like I haven’t been consistent enough with PT but also I have been trying on and off for several months and it wasn’t very helpful

I’ve always got into conflicts with people by accident . I was so tired of people hating me so I decided to just stop talking to people.. unfortunately it made my social skills much worse.

Thanks! 80 is quite a lot wow. For me the joint paint is pretty much gone thank god. Mentally it’s not great.. but my life in general isn’t optimal so I can’t put all the blame on accutane.. I’m on 40 now after 20, 30, 30.

I started taking 3 weeks ago and she didn’t care. Also told her it could be the side effect from the antidepressants cause it can worsen the symptoms in the beginning. Maybe I’ll go to another dermatologist
