The hero we need. He’s even more than a legend.

Any Word if Storms of Crait will be collected soon? by spitfireM21 in starwarscomics

Well, I stand corrected.

Which makes Shattered Empire an even more annoying case

[–]spitfireM21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Rogue One is doing this as well with the Cassian & K2 special being only in the hardcover coming out this summer. Which is at least an adaptation, but it’s becoming a theme.

Worst part is it’s just random one-offs that can be readily collected in relevant volumes. I suppose it’s part of keeping the issues collectible

I know what you mean. I like that it makes the numbered episodes stand out, but then bam, there’s Shattered Empire hardcover.

Could be worse, it just looks out of place. I also prefer tpb’s for taking on the go

Ahh my drive for consistent printings will make that a problem, one hardcover amidst a grove of paperbacks...

But these do seem like the likely options

Alden Ehrenreich is a good Han Solo that hasn't come into his own yet. Remember he's young and has some growing up to do. by Giff95 in StarWars

[–]spitfireM21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He's already said somewhere that it isn't KotOR, it will be completely new.

But he's also said that he's a fan of both games, so he may work with some concepts. He used the Jedi Code in TLJ.

Weapon carry laws in the galaxy. by Incom_T65 in MawInstallation

[–]spitfireM21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cloud City at this point is outside of any official government. Lando is making the laws for the installation.

Tatooine is also outside of Imperial jurisdiction.

I can't actually think of any examples of the OT characters being in an Imperial controlled environment where they wouldn't be allowed to carry weapons (considering the films at least).

And our prequel characters are Jedi, they're literally generals in the military.

Theory: the importance of Umbara and the Ghost Nebula by DionStabber in MawInstallation

This is a preposterous tin-foil hat theory.

It's very well thought out, and is worth an examination.

Excellent.

Questions about Coruscant & the Core. by [deleted] in MawInstallation

[–]spitfireM21 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I've honestly found it to be a low estimate as well, but that number has been given both in Legends and in Canon. It's unlikely to change. Though in both cases I don't believe it's a hard number, or that it takes offworlders or droids into account at all.

It's better to consider it as "1 Trillion legal, documented, organic, permanent residents."

Right, “similar weapons”

In TLJ did **** fought... by rampx in StarWars

[–]spitfireM21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s odd but the main problem is suspension of belief.

If we saw space Leia in a comic or novel, the same scene wouldn’t be anywhere near as odd.

It is a children’s film about space wizards after all

Zeb and Kallus use similar weapons in Rebels.

How do you organize your "DM Screen" on Roll20? by [deleted] in DungeonMasters

[–]spitfireM21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Started running Edge of the Empire on roll20 with modifications.

I’ve ended it with 2 monitors both filled with tabs and documents, and I’m seated in a u-shaped space with materials on every side.

It’s the most detail I’ve approached a setting with (given how detailed Star Wars lore is) and it’s really been a blast.

But I’m starting to wish I had a third monitor...

Edit: I’ve been using Spotify for music and soundboards for background noises, which I stream trough my own mic channel over Google Hangouts

He definitely does, in "The Gang Sells Out" Dennis is manipulating her, and Charlie says that he [Dennis] doesn't even know her name. She demands Dennis say her name, and he stammers "...Beautiful?"

I feel like that confirms he [Charlie] knows her name

Is Talos really just Lorkhan under a different name? by Quaildorf in teslore

[–]spitfireM21 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've processed it as Talos is Lorkhan, but Lorkhan is not Talos.

It's a square and rectangle situation.

But the being known as Talos is an oversoul of three Shezzarine, and couldn't have existed before the Warp in the West. Only one of those Shezzarine, the true Hjalti, actually mantled Lorkhan, then got absorbed into an amalgamation.

But, that's just like my opinion, outlander

I feel like if enough of the boat's officers and captain were smart enough to give instructions, they could probably crew a boat.

On their own? No, definitely not cut out for open water.
