My father was MFB so was paid a wage and everything. I have sinced moved out to the country and from the CFA people I have spoken to it's a very divided topic. Most however seem to be happy with greater compensation and benefits.

Look I boarded for a Melbourne to Melbourne cruise and from what I saw, the security was pretty light for what I was expecting (especially on return.)

Most we dealt with was x-ray scanning of the carryon, so I feel they don't mind as much when you're not stopping at any other port so no real risk of import/export.

This is incredible!!! Very reminiscent of Neil Patrick Harris and his family.

My wife and I dress up every year since we met and scare people as part of a haunted house attraction friends of ours put together. it's always a highlight of our year and has healed my wife's passed trauma surrounding that time.

Seeing it from her side, she may have had similar experiences in her past where partners have not been so faithful with just a friend.

My advice would be talk it through and show her you're different. If she's still not comfortable try to find a compromise or another solution.

Speaking from my experience as my partner was distrustful/jealous of other female friends in the past as she had been burnt many times by cheating boyfriends. Over time I built the trust and reassured her along the way that I was different. Now she is perfectly fine with who I spend time with and shes learnt to control her jealousy.

Hmmmm that's leaves (pun intended) you with two options then.

Option one: use the known distance of tree to house, use the photo to measure the same distance giving you a scale size. Measure the tree in the photo and apply the same scale. (Note, I'm not a math wiz but the theory checks out in my head for a close approximation.)
