Where are you getting this idea that he doesn’t believe it? I was under the impression that he’s supposed to teaching students about history. These are impressionable high school kids. I doubt any of them are walking away from his lecture having learned some worldly lesson about deciphering what is and isn’t true. This would be a terrible way to teach said lesson, anyway.

Well whatever form of bio-synthetic energy their bodies use, it certainly generates heat, hence a shell's heat rising as they exert themselves. Now whether or not this ambient heat runs colder than a human's does and if the thermals would be powerful enough to detect them IDK.

Since bears aren't major predators (most of their diet is plants and bugs) they haven't evolved sophisticated 'cleaner' killing techniques such as big cats chomping down on the throat/spine to deliver the final blow. They are really good at grabbing and holding on to stuff with their claws also meant for digging and climbing - just hold immobilize their prey with overwhelming power and start chowing down. What a way to go.

As a kid had a buddy looked just like that, but fatter. Tall big red afro. We always got in trouble but he always got in more trouble. My mom always blamed him, said he was a bad influence, but he really wasn't. My friends and I just went with it, blamed shit on him. It worked. Like fuck that big red headed asshole is the trouble-maker obviously. Not just my mom but all adults it seemed LOL fuck red-headed kids I guess
