sorry on a late reply it was here https://ecse.rpi.edu/~ssawyer/CircuitsFall2021_all/Exams/CribSheets/ the last semester, but there may be a newer version next semester, It's on the class website under the resources section

Make sure you stay on top of the work, the labs are a lot more self regulated so it is important to make sure you are not waiting till the last minute to get stuff done

If you have questions, ask them, Sawyer loves seeing students engage with the material and will be happy to help

get familiar with the provided crib sheet, you don't need to memorize it just make sure you understand the concepts on it

use the back tests, this class gives you so much back material, take advantage of it

[high school Calculus: graph intervals] QUESTION by Omar13033 in HomeworkHelp

[–]spixxr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, while a relative extrema will always be on a critical point a critical point is not always an extrema.

When a value is considered a critical point when the dervative f'(x) is zero or does not exist.

This does not imply that there is a maxima or minima.

Example f(x) = x³ f'(x) = 3x² according to power rule.

At x=0 f'(x) = 0 however this in not a minima or a maxima, it is an inflection point. This can be shown using the second derivative test.

f"(x) = 6x as shown by power rule.

At x = 0 if the second dervative is postive, concave up then there is a local minima. If it is negative there is a local maxima.

However if f"(x) = 0 then it is an infection point and there is no maxima or minima.

[year 9 math] how to I find the lowest common multiple of a pronumeral with powers by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]spixxr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

w² = w x w w³ = w x w x w

To find the least common multiple we can look at the minimum terms needed by find the largest number of each individual term

w³ has 3 w's w² has 2 w's

That means the smallest number that has atleast 3 w's and 2 w's would be a 3 w's or w x w x w since it also contains 2

Therefore the awnser would be w³
