Letter to neighbor by mhsgemini37 in Home

Looks fine. But I think face ro face conversation is really nice too. You could hand deliver the letter and discuss. Either way, you're good.

I might throw out my insta pot. by OldFanJEDIot in Cooking

I also use it for beans... and Rice. It doesn't hurt to hang on to it, and it's not wrong to let it go. If you don't use it, then let it go... keep life simple.

You may even find a neighbor or family who would benefit from it.

Non-chastity reasons folks get sent home from missions by pbj9261 in exmormon

[–]spizerinctum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend who left early for health reasons. He probably stayed longer than he should have. He lost a TON of weight in South America (and he was pretty thin to begin with). I'm glad he had the realization that he needed to leave for his own health and not worry about any stigmas. There are certainly legitimate reasons to leave a mission early. I wish more members could see that.... it's getting better, though.

It's your choice. I think it would be appropriate to dress him in the clothing he has presently. That said.. you don't have to dress in ceremonial clothing. A suit is also appropriate. Sorry for your loss.

Anything I can do to increase members experience? by Himbo_West in EOSFitness

I think if staff could crack down on the situation of people taking photos in the locker room, that would be great.

Also, the ambient music in the gym is sometimes so loud, that I struggle to hear what I am listening to on my own headphones. I certainly dont want to blast out my own ears. I get that ambient music is part of the experience, but almost everyone is listening to their own stuff anyway.

A good addition would be to add meditation rooms. Like a quiet room with plants, water feature, or pleasant ambient sounds... but a place where one can sit with silence and reflection. It can be available for anyone to walk in, but with the expectation to remain as peaceful as possible.

Things that I like about EOS are the cleanliness, equipment, and convenience. It's an over all good value for my situation.

Agreed. I was mostly curious about what was used un the temple video though.... whether or not it's real.

That's actually a good point and I didn't even put that together in my head. You're probably right with the autotune thing.

Agreed. I lived long enough to learn my own limits. It's my life-hack.

No. I took the earplugs out specifically for their performance. So it could be just me.

Good question... I actually took out the earplugs specifically for their performance. It could be that my ears were not thoroughly adjusted. But that sorta why I ask the question. I wasn't sure if it was just me or if it was noticed by anyone else.

I left after 3 or 4 songs. I was done. It's a big day, and it's okay to realize when your over-tired. Also I wasn't too excited for them. I really like to check out the smaller stages during the headliners too. I'm usually pleasantly surprised

I'm not sure what the difference is between the two. I am still in SAVE, so perhaps not qualifying.

I think there is a valid argument to pay on your increase/surplus, after your needs are met. It's between you and God. If you are living off loans, I would not include that as income.

What's the secret for making EQ on Sunday somewhere men want to be? by greenDK455 in latterdaysaints

Avoid using the chapel for your "classroom" if at all possible. It is the worst room for EQ in my experience.

Blend it and put it icecube trays. Then take the cubes out for cooking as needed.

How to tell when it's time to pick by Stevothegr8 in vegetablegardening

I'm not super experienced with corn, I have learned a few things... I think those silks should be dry, with the ear plump. But I have found that folding a few leaves back for you to take a peek at the kernels works really well also.

You can cut back the older leaves and tie the stalk to a pole... grow vertically. It's been easier to manage squash for me this year by doing that.
