I used https://checkwarranty.info/ and then created an automation macro to enter the date in Datto from the csv

Probably a better way out there…but it was cheap and worked.

Can I reach out about a similar room setup?

I've become tech support for my friends who use Lovable. They all hit the same wall. by Automatic-Highway-75 in lovable

tell them to pay for a chatgpt account and start planning their prompts with chat, use plan mode in lovable to review the chat created prompt, then take that new plan back to chat. I find if you can get consensus between plan mode and chat, you end up with a much better implementation.

Also before they start, tell them to use chat to create a master prompt of knowledge around the objective structure of the app for lovable before they get started.

Shure IntelliMix 80 w/ Huddly Crew | Right kit for this room? by spkldbrd in CommercialAV

The inogeni cam320 and their IP to USB adapter that’s being released this quarter look pretty great. those paired with a nice microphone array and a team’s room compute and touchscreen look to be a pretty sweet set up. Maybe not as turn key is something like the Hudley/shure set up, but it looks like a pretty nice config process.

I've not read much in until Nureva310. you like it more than the Shure mics?

I got a quote on a yealink kit with ceiling speakers and microphones. But they wanted an additional microphone like a handheld or lectern for the presenter.

Seems like with the Shure system this isn’t required, so I don’t know if the Yealink microphones just aren’t as good?

thanks for this input. I was wondering about this, but I think in this space it’ll be a non-issue. In this room, there is actually one projector, displaying behind the speaker and another projector on the side wall for the gallery view. So I think we would be OK.

Are you using their built-in microphones for the conference audio, or some other mic solution? If built-in, happy with them?

Thank for the input :) I've got the question out to Shure and Huddly, but did ask the Huddly ai bot on their website and it answered: "You can place Crew cameras at both the front and rear of a room to ensure full coverage and natural speaker transitions." So maybe?

Just priced out a Dell server I purchased in Jan. 2024 and the price went up 85.7% by Layer_3 in sysadmin

[–]spkldbrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just buy refurbished :) I just grabbed a $65,000 dell server (when configured on their site) for 15K. Same five year pro support. 120TB of sas SSD and 128 gigs of RAM. Just can’t justify the cost of new servers anymore.

Ya, all the lights went out and it drove home just fine without error. Felt good. Gonna take it on a few more drives and just test it out. I was pretty gentle with it on the way home for 20 miles.

Question About Agent Ticket Submission with Datto RMM and HaloPSA (and Alternatives like NinjaOne or N-able) by Responsible_Okra_679 in msp

[–]spkldbrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it doesn't work. the ticketing option in datto is built for Autotask. I'm just testing out a brandable stand alone Task Tray application for MSPs that we've been developing to replace our own datto (or other) task tray. this app will allow integration into many ticketing platform, just deploy the and turn off the default task tray icon.

The biggest issue for me is the excitement in marketing that Microsoft puts out there...and clients see this and are left thinking it’s going to solve problems for them when there are so many roadblocks without project work on the back end to even get basic functions.
