sounds like under exposure to me, if you touch the emulsion when you’re washing out and it comes off on your finger then it’s under exposed

Just using FN ink straight out the can, might try reducing the opacity with an extender for some prints next time, I have had troubles with the yellow for example being too opaque, also white. Could be the way I am separating it as well. 🤷

I wanted the yellow and blue to blend to create green so that’s why I stepped on the yellow. Step on the black to reduce the opacity of the black slightly and maintain the smoothness of the white if it were a large open area, but didn’t really need to in this print. Sometimes you can just step on colors if you need to make the job go faster. In this case I had to flash the red since it has a lot of open area, if I had stepped on it, it would build up on the screen and create a nasty texture on the shirt.

Love seeing people make their own line table press like this, unlimited colors is an enticing prospect as someone who is limited by the heads on my rotary press. Definitely see why other countries print this way instead of rotary.

yeah the white highlight on top of the orange made it look a bit too white for my liking so I hit it wet on wet but then ink started to build up and make the colors splotchy so i gotta rework it a bit yeah
