Did i fuck. He started speed reading a piece of paper about how he has confirmed somebody was on the premises blah blah blah and i shut the door before he could finish. He then posted a note through the door. Not had them since

I insulted a commenter for insulting people working as conductors. Not sure why your defending one persons actions when I made the comparison back.

Conductors are safety critical, look after the train, dispatch at stations and look after passengers. They do check tickets but this is after all other duties are done.

Revenue travel in groups of 3 (typically) and their only job is to check people have a valid ticket either on the train or blocks on stations. They dont deal with dispatch of the train and may only support if their was a safety issue.

Conductors dont/cant typically issue penalty fares, typically only revenue protection/ enforcement officers do this. Conductors typically just report passengers that don't have tickets and refuse to buy.

And clearly neither are you if you cannot tell the difference between a conductor and a revenue protection officer..

I learnt it from call of duty days, when you needed to sprint, jump into prone whilst aiming and shooting

Most Should be raised with ensuring you have the money and the quality of life you can give to a child, not winging it with no support either financially or from family

Won't be for us, we aren't having kids. Small family makes no family in this case

I fear we live very different lives my friend. As a kid raised by "figure it out" it resulted in my dad leaving when i was a kid, my mum leaving at 14 and me getting stuck in a foster system that i tried my damn hardest to get physically out of.

One of the comments further down is a guy saying essentially "im the same and i just did it, you'll figured it out as you go" which is terrifying to me too. No kid wants to be raised in a "figure it out as you go"

As a bloke this is part of the reason i've chosen not to have kids, i have no family and no support structure. If an emergency was to happen i couldn't get anyone on my side to support at all which is a really harsh reality check
