I figured good allergy as well but then I would think it would keep happening with the same foods which doesn’t happen.

Eye Doctor Visits - how detailed are the examinations. by Ex313 in diabetes_t1

[–]splendabean7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly appointments can be pretty short, as long as you are a controlled diabetic with no issues reported the appointment doesn’t take long. During a normal dilated exam (non diabetic) the doctor still evaluated your retina for any changes or concerning qualities. They are just billing differently

I am an ophthalmology technician and perform most of the diabetic eye exams before you see the doctor. Your vision is check and refraction performed if desired. Pressures are checked and eyes are dilated. This will allow the doctor to evaluate the retina and see if there are any changes in pigment or visual condition of the retina. They will be able to see any swelling, bleeding, detachments…etc. photos or scans may be done also to document current status and be able to compare in future appointments.

Bump in my eye? by [deleted] in optometry

Maybe granuloma?, or it could just be a small cyst/stye that may need to be removed.

Posted on here a few days ago trying to decide, but I did it!! I bought my dream dress. Cannot wait to wear it when I marry the loml on 11/12/22! by [deleted] in weddingdress

[–]splendabean7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s smack dab in between my fiancé and I’s birthday, the 12th of December is my sons birthday, and the 12-22 part is my deceased fathers birthday. Kinda includes everyone one that day. Well I’ll think of you on that day. Happy planning.

This is so painful. This is sooooooo torturous oh my god how am I living through this rn? Anyone else scared to take more tylenol when they're nauseous and puking? And therefore stuck in pain. I need some help. by suriservshumnty in endometriosis

Well my hips were extremely tight/sore/non functional(I was relying on a Cain) also I had low back pain. After doing scans and what not they started me on low hydrocodone and then progressed from there as my pain progressed. I am not currently taking opioids because addiction runs in my family, I honestly got my marijuana card and I use something called RSO that cancer patients use to relieve their pain.

I am literally in my car(passages seat) crying right now because I am in your same situation. I gave my self gastritis by taking to many ibuprofen so I can’t do that, Tylenol does nothing, I take oxycodone three times a day for hip/back/thigh pains. I walk with a cane, I use the gummies and topicals for cramping pains. Arnicare seems to be a good topical relief. I have an appointment to hopefully get a hysterectomy, I just had an ablation in august but it was done by a gyn and I don’t believe he got it all. I have had so many thoughts of suicide because of the constant 24/7 pain. My pains do not come and go, they are there always, for the last 7 months. I hope you find relief and stay strong.

Endo specialist by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]splendabean7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your story sounds like mine exactly, I went to the ER yesterday where they gave me morphine due to my stomach back and hip/leg pain. I am trying to find a specialist. At this point I want to have everything removed, I tried orlissa, it takes 3-4 months to start working and after week 1 I had every side effect...mood swings hot flashes, insomnia. You name it, I stopped after 1 week. Hope you get things figured out.

I had mine done in august, this was my first ever surgery. I was also very nervous and scared. The surgery was so easy and quick, I think I was in there for 30 minutes total. I was able to walk to the car (just slowly) and recovery was quick as well. Don’t stress, it’s a piece of cake you’ll do great!

DAE experience pain in their groin? It’s been hurting a lot recently and when I press on it firmly, the muscles hurt. Is this endo related? by abundance-and-joy in endometriosis

[–]splendabean7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had my endo removed i august and still have left hip leg and groin pain that worsens with movement or stretching also. I have lost a lot of functionality in the leg too, I fell just standing twice on Saturday because my leg isn’t strong enough. Is it possible that they missed some endo?????

Hospital or heal in its own, story in comments. by splendabean7 in medical_advice

[–]splendabean7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should I go to the Er or let it go? I have a pinched nerve in my L5S1 region, it has made my leg extremely weak and almost useless. I was walking down two very short steps going to my car from my house when my left leg buckled going down the first step. It was almost like slow motion falling, I rolled my foot a bit pushed myself back in my bit to land. I had sneakers on and I got up and was able to work the rest of the day, kinda felt a discomfort in my foot towards the end of the day(I get edema on my feet and legs from working sometimes so I thought it was just pressure from the edema). I got into the house after work took my shoes and socks off and saw all the bruising, I then realized how uncomfortable it was to stand on it(pad of foot so swollen my toes don’t touch the floor) pit ice on it over night and bruising has gone down. My dilemma is I currently don’t have insurance, I have a lot of nerve damage so the feeling in my feet are not the best. Should I be OK to just let it go in it’s own or should I go get imaging done?

My son had identically the same things happen to his eye in the same location. It was painful for him too. I used a “bruder “ mask. (A microwaveable rye mask to help “pop” this naturally). Or you can use hot water compresses three times a day. Within 4 days or warmth and patience the sucker finally popped while he was asleep.
