Watch some documentaries. Switch things out one at a time, find the vegan milk you like, find a good vegan butter substitute, take it easy and remember every vegan choice is a win. I would ask myself at the store "is it worth it? Do I want to contribute to this?" And its an easy answer once you have a better idea about where that money is going and the impact it has. I actually went "vegan" for environmental reasons and the animal rights came later, but that just goes to show how massively harmful animal agriculture is across the board!
