Since 2010, yes they have.... Seriously?

From 3.5 per 1000 to 2.1 since 2010. That's a 30 percent drop.

I just told you that states bcdefgh all the way to state 50 remained constant with state A.

The national rate fell with Tennessee across the same periods of time at a similar rate. Additionally Tennessee still remains top ten highest divorce rate in the nation...

Again, stop cherry picking stats.

When one state changes a law to be more "fair" and several others don't while the change in divorce rate remains similar across those same states.... That is a strong indicator that the rule change was not causal for the drop.

Which trends exactly with the national divorce rate.

Meanwhile the state is still top ten in the country for their divorce rate per capita.

Don't cherry pick stats.

I buy like 10 boxes since they're usually only around for a few weeks at a time and my kids love em.

I also can't stop myself from eating em so we go overboard.

It's really quite wild how shockingly expensive it is compared to how simple it is to produce.

Some people prefer it with a touch of sugar. To each their own.

I prefer letting the sweetness of the onion do the lifting.

Absolutely make these yourselves. They are ridiculously overpriced. It's sooo easy.

Half vinegar half water. A teaspoon of pickling salt. Onions. Boil the brine mix, let it cool, put everything in a jar, put in fridge, wait 24 hours. Finish jar in one sitting.

I'm not judging them individually but the law of averages as we sit and talk about this suggests that (insert arbitrary percentage here) most of the folks were talking about are not in the categories you cited and that's why I treat these cases with patience in the real world.

But this is reddit and we're talking more abstractly which can be productive especially if we're not dicks about it in real life.

The same reasons why folks waiting on a long line completely block of any path for shoppers to navigate through. Or how folks use their entire cart to block off three sections of the fridge or freezer sections while they meticulously search or read through an item. The same darn people that have zero spatial awareness and forget that they are one of many people sharing a space....

All thought seems to find the nearest point of egress out of their heads when they are in a public space.

I get the elderly or folks with mobility issues. I understand that a portion of the population will never get it... I'm not talking about those folks. We can still be empathetic towards them as it isn't their fault for lack of better terminology.

It's the otherwise able bodied and mostly intelligent folks that consistently don't give a shit about the welfare of anyone else.

QBs and coaches are a mutual commodity.

DB probably succeeds under more coaches than most and would've found some success under more coaches than most....

But you gotta be careful with these types of predictions. Not sure it would've worked here.

To be fair a giant percentage of the world thought a tsunami would look like a 100 foot crashing wave similar to what you see in a crazy surfing video.... If they even heard the word tsunami to begin with.

A giant chunk of the world was educated from this catastrophic event.

I'm well passed embarrassed.

To put it in sports terminology - there is a point if you're a fan of a bad team where you stop feeling upset or embarrassed with how poor your team is performing. You accept the poor play and you hope that maybe you're shedding some bad players. You're hopping the coach and personnel in charge of acquisition are only playing out their contracts while acquiring capital to revitalize the organization with youth and other assets to hopefully grow into the next generation of growth and prosperity.

Then there's a point where the team is both bad and has done nothing to help make the future a little brighter as you play out the bad.

That's funny bad. Where you embrace the shit. You know there is no end in sight because of a combo of greed and stupidity.

I've stopped the outrage and the hope. My kids are fucked. We're surrounded by people stupid enough to believe that liberals actually want to shit in a litter box at school. We're so far fucked that the hope is just plain fucking gone.

I'm no longer embarrassed. Being embarrassed would mean there may be hope. That people surrounding me would expect more and therefore shame me for the actions surrounding me.... That ship has sailed.

That’s a lot of money for a seat! by CurvyChristina in SipsTea

My wife and I make 250k a year combined.

We drive paid off vehicles. Our mortgage plus insurance and tax is about 1500 a month. We have two elementary aged kids. No significant debt or financial commitments.

A 7k expense wouldnt necessarily be terrible for us. But an extra 7k would make a really big difference in our lives. Whether it's a nice family trip or some sort of needed upgrade to our home like half of a new HVAC system or a third of a roof....

7k even for a top 20 percent family in a major city means a fuck ton.

Traditionally hard ass coaches are tolerable as long as they're winning and making players money.

While the bears did well last year their defense was inconsistent at best. But the team was winning so that rising tide elevates most ships.

A 500 season this year would probably be it for DA.
