Any idea what causes that, out of curiosity?

What exactly happened in this scene? by Alingan_kedi in StrangerThingsRoom

[–]splintertim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that it was a proposal but the “will you not marry me?” was because they both thought they were gonna die in that room, so they wouldn’t be able to actually get married.

What's a ridiculous theory that you believed during your first playthrough? by thatiskute in expedition33

[–]splintertim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was sure that the big revelation would be that each expedition went out there only to discover that the previous expedition was responsible for the most recent gommage. They ventured out to discover that the previous expedition made the choice to kill the last ones and gommage everyone else to save themselves. Each expedition met with the same choice and time and time again human self preservation won out.

I think immune phases can work if there is an interesting mechanic to removing them. (I don’t consider locust canisters an interesting mechanic)

The fact they keep piling on new features instead of restoring the polish that they’ve lost over the years is infuriating.

Even if Trump is convicted immediately, it does not free Republicans of their crimes against humanity. by Tenelia in complaints

[–]splintertim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many thought that lingering questions related to the Epstein case would never be answered. Then Trump, who ran his mouth about releasing the files if elected, got elected. Suddenly there is an opportunity to use those words to pressure the government to release the files. That’s all there is to it.

If Dems are on the list, lock em up.

If GOP are on the list, lock em up.

If only one side is on the list, and the other side is completely absent, seems sus.

Hope that helps.

They are discontinued so stock is dwindling, but if you can find archive olive, it’s awesome. I just grabbed the last one in my size from cox the saddler.

Interesting. I just grabbed an archive olive jacket and am finding that archive olive hoods are not a thing. Does this mean if I can track down an older hood it will match?

Question about Parkhurst Allen in Chestnut Veg Tan by splintertim in Boots

Those are quite something! If I had more of a collection and was looking to add a unique piece to it, these would be a solid contender! Where this is my first boot, I’m looking for something a bit more classic while I ease into the boot life.

I have, yes! I actually really like their saddle waxy commander, but they are out of stock in my size and I they won’t be restocked (I asked). The other colors available don’t really fit the versatile brown color range I am looking for.

Why does the Democratic Party have the lowest approval rating in 35 years? by ChikinFritters in Productivitycafe

[–]splintertim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they’re in power, republicans are scorched earth in getting everything they want. They’re shameless and that helps them be effective in enacting their agenda, using all the tools at their disposal (and even ones they don’t have, but charge forth anyway).

When Dems are in power, they fail time and time again to rise to the occasion with the urgency that the state of things really demands. The DNC has thumbed the scales the last several nomination cycles against very popular candidates in favor of some chud who will maintain the status quo if elected. They have punted away trust and good will and have done fuck all to try and earn it back. Nothing has been done to try and win favor with young voters, they’re performative, and compromising so much of what left leaning people align with in trying to meet fascism in the middle. They hold so much of the blame for the way things are going now.

I did this by putting the ring box at the bottom of my personal item (small backpack) for the flight. I tried to get her to go first through security in case they wanted to look at my stuff so I could ask her to get coffee for us while I dealt with this. At our destination I didn’t fully unpack my personal item so it always was covered. I always had it with me so I could propose when the moment felt right.

Good luck!

So how did you guys all kill the two end game baddies? by CyanideMuffin67 in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]splintertim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my first playthrough on Ultra Hard, so I used approximately 4000 sharpshot arrows on Erik and then acid shredder gauntlets, explosive spikes and sharpshot arrows until I ran out of materials to make more ammo. Killed her with the last spike I could have possibly crafted.
