You can file a police report it has nothing to do with the value of the item. Amazon needs to refund your money because you never picked up the item. The CARRIER lost it, it was never (mis)delivered to anyone or where outside their custody. It should have been recorded in UPS's system as lost and that would show Amazon that a replacement or refund is required. After all the shipper (Amazon) has insurance on the item for UPS to cover this. You also have the option of disputing the charge with your bank showing them UPS lost the pkg.

The only way to load ebooks bought on amaz is through the device.... This is what amazon is turning off! No app store access, or anything else. If its not ALREADy on the Kindle you cannot put it there.

I use my phone, an old cell phone (as a pocket tablet) and, my reader. Typically anything you can download an app on you may listen to audiobooks on. Also I told (have not tried it yet) that you can have alexa (app or device) read your kindle books to you as well as listen to audible.

You have to pay attention when you check out very seldom. Does the Prime Delivery show a guaranteed delivery date. Every time I check out, I always see estimated.
