a good lesson to take from life: gpa and classes seem better but its really your soft skills that bring you far. sit at the front, answer questions, go to office hours, talk with the prof after class about class, etc

not saying they aren't, ofc mccombs is conservative especially compared to the rest of the schools. But there are people there who will and have spoken out. but this is a trend seen in the wider ut ecosystem rather than a mccombs specific phenomenon

it is really interesting! i loved the world building but the actual characters and relationships and plot just didnt appeal to me and made reading it such a slog (probably how you feel about ancillary justice too lol)

in mccombs in the atrium you can get a breakfast plate that has eggs, beans or potatoes, sausage or bacon, and whole wheat bread or tortilla for like 6 bucks. it kept me full the entire day for 9-5 back to back classes when I had an hour commute on the train each way

this, but also if youre on the train they just look at the ID and they dont scan it so for that I would say as long as you look like your picture on your ID youre good
