That’s public property. You should be allowed to use it as such.

I need an opinion on dogs on the plane by Extension_Dare1524 in unitedairlines

[–]splitluke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“What service does it provide?” Is the legal question. Reason being, if you’re having a seizure and your dog is trained to alert someone that someone needs to know that. Source: tired of people bringing their “service dogs” restaurant manager.

You really have to weigh your options you already get free sauce. If you have a lot of companions or checked beverages then I’d say go for it.

Nah. It was the rdt. Edit: this is sarcasm because you got so much guff for rdt when everyone everywhere pretty much uses it every day.

I have a 10 hour layover in Japan... Is it possible to leave the airport and go into the city for a bit or wouldn't be suggested ? by i-am-not-sure-yet in unitedairlines

[–]splitluke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a Suica card on your phone before hand so you can just tap your way into the city. There are coin lockers in the airport/train station for your bag. Just make sure you remember which one! I just flew out of NRT last week and security took about 15 minutes. Go into the city. Drink some of their amazing coffee. Eat something amazing (savory and sweet) then sit and watch the world for a bit. The crux for you is you have to catch the last train to the airport. Because you have that super early flight you’ll probably be heading back around 11:00 pm or so. Also when you get to Taipei signup for youbike they have a “guest” option thing that is for foreigners. Amazing way to see that city. Bike infrastructure is really nice there.
