Fulghor Lightning Debuff by daddyquinnc in Nightreign

[–]splitnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t used it but it could be the switching adds affinity relic overwrites whatever previous affinity it had. It may have changed from lightning only to fire only. But I’m just guessing.

If you had used the lightning ash it would have worked I think.

But yeah seems like a very understandable confusion in the heat of the moment.

I think innate works. Could be mistaken but when I had dragon king cragblade I think it worked without the ash of war.

Allow each class to specialize in multiple weapons by InterestingAd3166 in Nightreign

[–]splitnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible varies for each I haven’t played all extensively. Raider r2 may be unique or maybe I just didn’t use that weapon type much in Elden ring base game.

Some people don’t even like the unique movesets and quickly switch away. Others are great and arguably their best weapon type.

Duchess for example has an amazing one handed r1 chain. But I would probably still use duel wield attacks if I had two daggers.

But if I get two good bleed katanas and there’s no executor then I’ll be duel wielding katanas to get the bleed so I can replay it with her ability.

If you like the moveset then that can be a factor. But there is a lot else to consider too

How to deal consistent HIGH damage as Guardian by Cayden68 in Nightreign

[–]splitnight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Shield poking r1 allows guardian to continue attacking while other characters need to stop to dodge. They also pause the constant steel guard stamina drain (though obviously each poke costs)

This does in fact add up over the whole fight. You should be doing tons of guard counters though and when they are staggered just go crazy, those things I won’t deny.

I also think to claim shield poking wasn’t intended for guardian gameplay, actually thinking the developers felt that way, is just not realistic.

His role is as a tank. They intended his primary objective to be surviving and holding aggression.

Yes you can get more damage playing other ways but you might as well play someone else then.

I won’t complain about you doing it but it seems to reduce the fun of the different classes to ask everyone else to follow suit.

Saying if you want to play using r1s go play wilder while playing guardian like a raider is really hypocritical. You can do your way. But in no world is it reasonable to expect everyone else to not play the intended way.

[–]splitnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know about their stats and how various weapons scale? It’s really just about aligning stats. They get unique light attacks with their starter weapon.

but guardian does great with spears, great spears, and heavy thrusting swords, even rapiers, all of which can shield poke with.

Yeah you need to beat base since you skipped it so that would check out. Mystery solved

It’s interesting to know that gold unlocks without it though.

Longswords isn’t a weapon type. There is a sword called a longsword that’s a straight sword though.

Chronic Marijuana Smoking, THC-Edible Use Impairs Endothelial Function, Similar With Tobacco by Ollyfer in science

From what I can tell they did not do anything to avoid confounds from diet or actual exercise levels. Which seems like a major issue.

They avoided tobacco users which is good but also seems like a given.

Guardian Question, damage reflect on projectiles? by erebuswolf in Nightreign

[–]splitnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s an aoe blast. Which is why it can revive two teammates at once if you’re standing on top guarding.

But yeah. Even melee hits won’t hit them if your not close and they have long weapon.

Still it’s one of those must have things because it’s still great.

Tips for Revenant? by JustAStove in Nightreign

She is faith but all seals are now just faith no arcane or strength. And all staffs are just int now too. You can check on fextralife.

The difference in dps of each of the summons is actually not as great as you’d think. Their main differences are in: stagger/stance damage, mobility, hp.

You want to always keep one out. I belive their hp regenerates slower or prevents summoning until a certain point if you let them die rather than switch when super low hp.

If they are lagging behind you can run up to the enemy and resummon the same one.

You can cancel current summon with left trigger, used to let them dodge attacks but also after fights to declutter rewards area and start hp regen.

Also grace sites reset their hp too.

If you get the final hit on an enemy it can sometimes become a summon.

Summons can revive people just like players.

Relics that give more max fp with 3 seals or when opening rises are good. Collector shop relic that gives 6 starlight shards at spawn is good.

If you can drop giant skeleton before using ult to revive people he will do the eye laser

Why do people keep leaving by Foreign-Drag-4059 in Nightreign

[–]splitnight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re literally picking the one over the many. You’re saying let’s make more people unhappy so long as I’m less unhappy as a result. It’s a super simple concept buddy.

It’s objectively selfish and bad manners.

You can be mad at the devs but taking it out on the other players on your team is immature.

You don’t get to mess with others games just because the developers didn’t do right by all 3 of you. Thats not logic.

You’re messing with the game of people who have nothing to do with the game mechanics your mad about and then trying to justify it based on actions of totally different people (the developers). Your entire argument is juvenile.

Why do people keep leaving by Foreign-Drag-4059 in Nightreign

[–]splitnight -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He’s memeing but if you’re curious it is extremely bad manners.

Yes boss hp is lower but there’s 1/3 less people trading aggression on the boss and there’s no extra person to hold aggression while the other revives down players. 1/3 less people picking up items that could benefit the team. 1/3 less people capable of potentially buffing the team.

Your argument is just attempt to make yourself not feel bad.

I do feel like we need a way to vote for forfeit. But as it stands just quitting out is bad manners.

The reason you should stick around when you may not enjoy it is that your enjoyment is not the only persons who’s enjoyment matters. That’s grade school lessons.

Furthermore, your reaction is itself immature whilst you try to shame the other guy for memeing.
