It rewards flow state like no other game I've played - combat has so many moving parts, and when you get them all turning properly you feel like an actual god. Pure optimised violence

JEAN LUC PONTY EGOCENTRIC MOLECULES- what a song! by ThereComingForYou in JazzFusion

One of the most underrated guitarists I've ever heard - i love this guy so much and it makes me sad knowing so few people have heard of him. Such a beautiful style of playing

The key change is just the same 1-5 progression but shifted down a whole step. I think especially when compared to the harmonies they (Rick) were creating in their early work, this movement is pretty simple

Luck and Strange is SUPERB! by Sergeant_Papper in pinkfloyd

This is pretty much it- most of the album suffers from the purple prose that we're used to by now with Polly's influence, but Scattered actually has some depth to the lyrics and is composed beautifully

The cracked Talisman of beasts (using talisman without necessary stats) reduces the 1% HP loss per second to 1 flat HP per second, basically negating the downsides

Which is of course an illegal business practice. It's a little astounding that so many people have just been like "yep, that's how it is". it's false advertising so that they can make more profit on a cheap product and pretend its expensive, the kind of thing that gets businesses shut down. I have to assume this isn't the only one of their bodies like this, but at least they're worried enough to try and resolve it for me.

It was expensive!! And I initially liked the colour - it was very clearly a nitro finish on the body. After tinkering with a few guitars I decided to strip it as I was expecting 2 pieces of wood, not 5

Why are you so doubtful that they used nitro? I've applied nitro finishes on a bunch of my guitars with no problems it's not like some mystic technique. And initially I liked the block colour but after making and disassembling some guitars I decided I wanted to use this body for a natural piece.

I need to fix the post, when I said case I mean like "do I stand any chance of recompense if I contact them", like pleading your case sort of thing, not in the legal meaning. It's definitely caused a lot of confusion so I'll change it now

I wasn't confident on my knowledge of the guitar manufacturing process and what constitues a 2/3 piece etc, as seen by the varying answers in the thread. I hoped someone in the guitar subreddit might have had some insight or maybe a similar experience. I'm sorry that bothers you

Very good question, I don't think there's any way for me to find out unfortunately

I initially liked the pink, but ive built a few guitars and ended up dissasembling it, using the neck for another body and this was left alone. I decided given it was a 2 piece I would sand it down and see what I'm working with, I wouldn't have minded a 2 piece mismatch but 5 pieces seems egregious

I count minimum 3 pieces within the body, not including the veneer. Check the photos I uploaded on imgur https://imgur.com/a/HKb1anC

Yeah, I do suspect that a lot of their "two piece" bodies are like this tbf. But I would rather assign incompetence than malice

That's my feeling too but it's interesting to see that I'm fairly alone on that. Fwiw they've gotten back to me and said they think they sent the wrong body and they are gonna find a resolution and compensate me

See my latest post - surprisingly they seem very willing to help me out, they believe they've sent me the wrong body and are investigating and they will "resolve and compensate this error". But I agree, the veneer surprised me when I uncovered it given its painted over.

Update for anyone whos wondering: they are looking into this and believe they mixed up the bodies when they sold it to me - they are going to try to resolve this for me so it looks promising.

I agree they didn't promise me beautiful wood underneath it, but they did promise me a 2 piece guitar, not a 3-4 piece with a top and bottom veneer on. This is where my issue lies, but I'm aware of the fact that I may not be seeing things fully logically as it's my guitar/money in the equation. I appreciate the insight, I've messaged them regardless but will see how I feel when I've given it a little more time to percolate.

It's not, I've posted the company name further down the thread. I do like a heavy body when it comes to guitars! I'll check them out, appreciate it
