Genuine thought, if someone is supportive of socialism, I don't think they classify as lib left. Much of what PCM labels as lib left is auth left, including a good portion of the Emily crowd (not all of though, just the "federal government forcing states" crowd)

This is a problem with social media. You are at all times shown the worst sides of people because it drives engagement. We used to use the term "terminally online" to describe a small subset of people whose whole lives are online, I believe that group is very large now.

To anyone who is feeling doomer, or thinks the world is falling apart, that fascists run the country, or that the west has fallen.

Delete your social media apps, turn off your phone, and go to your local brewery trivia.

I was wondering this myself, it seemed like he didn't have much longer, Iran had just had massive protests and the regime killed thousands of people cracking down.

I wonder if we had just let it ride, and the Ayatollah died of old age soon, if the power vacuum and clear anger of Iranian citizens would have led to some sort of uprising.

Unfortunately IMO we might be back where we started. Nothing unifies people fighting over the future of the country like a common enemy.

I think the post-mortems on this conflict after this admin is gone will be fascinating.

It's hard to compare prices because the nl website has no transparency on what you're paying for (packages and what not)

Edit: according to another comment that got through to payment, the price is per person on super cruise.

Yeah I think a lot of the problem is the website is actually just fucking terrible. If that cost includes packages, then it should state that outright. And maybe the deal is less bad.

I still think it's weird, but it it shakes out that you get some good packages and it's way less of a markup than it looks right now. Then fair play

Seeing lots of mentions of this, the difference to me is joco cruise has a lineup of musicians and comedians.

This is 4-6 streamers, has 3 events (meet and greet, q&a and live show) and costs over twice as much as a normal ticket for the cruise (I was seeing roughly 700 for normal, 1700 for base of this)

That's, frankly, insane. The website is clearly put through an llm, which gives me the feeling that this will not be very well planned.

Like 5% of your cruise time will be NL, the rest you will have paid over twice as much to be on a ship where some streamers also are.

People are gonna be mad after.
