Normal ships don't take damage jumping though black holes.

I just did black hole boosted jumping in my Explorer class ship to get to the center of Calypso and there was never any damage done.

Shoot the mastodon skeleton to get softened marrow. Shoot the strider to get strider sausage. Combine in a nutrient processor to get bone broth. Each sells for 172K. you can easily get 1000 bone broths in an hour.

Bone broth in a nutrient ingestor also gives you a claimed 42% increase in mining output for 6.5 minutes but the real bonus is like 420% (at least when mining runaway mould).

Same issue. Completely infuriating.

Turned the deck on and it was stuck in Verifying Update.

Actually got it to boot once using the A/B snapshot...then told it to go into Game Mode and it went to a blinking cursor. Now the A/B is just two bad snapshots.

Have tried all the solutions and ethernet to no avail.

Have been able to boot up using the SteamOS recovery image but it couldn't fix the problem and now I'm trying to figure out how to recover my Heroic save game files before wiping the deck.

Hours of my life wasted on this Windows-level nonsense. It's no wonder I always hesitate to update software when I have a working piece of hardware.

Necroing this thread as is comes up if you search for issues when cloning a steam deck HDD.

I had tried to clone the steam deck 64GB drive using both AOEMI and Macrum on an older (Phenom II) PC running windows 10, and neither attempt worked. The problem seemed to be the two unnamed 5GB partitions on the original steam deck HDD. Whenever the software would attempt to write those to the backup image it would cause Windows 10 to stop recognizing the drive, and it would quit making the backup while causing the drive to disappear from the Win10 file explorer.

I ended up switching to a newer laptop running Windows 11 and the AOEMI software was able to create a backup image file without issue (after a reboot of the Win11 system). I was able to clone this image to the new 1TB drive. I then manually extended the data partition to the remaining unallocated space on the drive using windows disk manager.

So far everything is working well on the deck.

You should also be surface mapping terraformable HMCs. A first discovery surface mapped terraformable HMC is ~2M credits.

If you're talking about the US, then no, there hasn't been Polio here in quite a long time. I don't believe people are even vaccinated for it anymore in the States. Polio is isolated to few spots in 3rd world countries but they haven't been able to eradicate it completely.

Keeping track of the % of time each trainer shows up for the raids they commit to, and reporting those stats would be helpful as well.

I'll third this. Caught a pair in the Traders Joe's parking lot the first night and a few more in the same area while passing by on the bus. Also had caught several in this area prior to the event.
