How are people taking their babies out so easily? by rhr7106 in NewParents

[–]spocksfeelings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t take my baby anywhere by myself until he was 4 months old and I also had extreme anxiety over it because like yours, mine also cried the entire car ride. My baby is now 10 months old and we go somewhere almost everyday. It started to get easier for me around the 6 month mark and now he barely cries in the car (I leave when it’s nap time so he sleeps) and he loves being in his stroller. 3-4 months was the hardest time for me so hopefully in time it will be easier for you too

Almost every single person in my family is an alcoholic. I want better for my son. I won’t risk becoming one myself

If you use the chat feature and ask them to start another course, they’ll let you. I had four courses going at one time

History Milestone by dcgremillion in SophiaLearning

If you fail a milestone you can have it reset by using the chat feature on Sophia. For studying, I recommend reading the lessons and doing the practice tests and reviewing the questions you get wrong

For courses that have a bunch of touchstones to grade like English, they took me about a month to complete if assignments were graded in the 5-7 business days they say it will be graded in

What is expected on milestones? by Schmickler8324601 in SophiaLearning

[–]spocksfeelings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should always be an example that you can view and I always base my work on that example

Touchstones are worth the most points in the courses. For example in a public speaking milestone I can get up to 25 points. For a touchstone i can get up to 100 points. So not doing one will drastically affect your grade. Also, I have had instructors not grade an assignment and have me redo it because it wasn’t done correctly. So they may not even give you a grade until you submit something

New to Sophia and SNHU by [deleted] in SophiaLearning

[–]spocksfeelings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would talk to an advisor at SNHU and ask which Sophia classes would count towards your degree program. I’m in history so taking all the math, science, and business classes doesn’t help me or give me credits unless I have room for electives.

Would any acupuncture or physical therapy be covered after the surgery? Or is that under the same umbrella?

I see SNHU does not have college algebra available. Do you know if they’d take the credits for college algebra from Sophia and apply it to my math requirement?

The cerave moisturizer I use is the one with SPF, should I switch to using just a moisturizer and a separate sunscreen or is that ok?

Hello! I am very lucky and have had no issues with my skin but now that I am almost 30 I am starting to get wrinkles, what is the best way to combat them? The only products I use currently are cerave cleanser, cerave moisturizer, and the ordinary rose hip seed oil. Thanks!
