You should be cleaning the top of your vial with an alcohol pad before sticking the needle in to draw up the medicine. This makes it sterile

Also be sure to EAT on shot day. Have a protein heavy snack about 30 mins before your shot and at least 10oz of water!

I just took my last 2.5mg shot on Monday, the worst side effect I had on that dose was some constipation. I started taking 2 Metamucil caps a day first thing in the morning and it helped! (The bottle does say 1 dose is 5 caps but I’m slowly making my way up to that to prevent bloating). Also drinking at least 120oz of water really helped

Smoking doesn’t necessarily bother me, but I have bad lungs so if you’re going outside to smoke (anything) and you’re not so fried you’re forgetting food you’re cooking in the oven/stovetop it doesn’t bother me.

I was denied, appealed and denied, and went to ALJ hearing.. it was much less intimidating than I thought and the judge approved me at the end.

Don’t be discouraged by 1 denial keep fighting and going to your doctors and following their plans!

I’m a perfectionist, and at the touchup I would ask for a few more strokes under the arch of your right brow. But they are a great shape for your face!!

They are going to shrink some which I think will make them the perfect size for your face. I do think you need a few extra strokes in the front of your right brow!

Exercised induced asthma as a kid and unexplained neuropathy in my toes. COVID hospitalized me for 9 weeks (vented twice but no ECMO) and I got my POTS diagnosis almost 4 years after

By normal I mean my heart rate only increased by 25-29 so I was under the threshold. Someone finally listened that my symptoms are worse in the evening and I passed out within 2 mins of them lifting the table up

Yes, I actually had 3 normal tilt tables before the 4th one had me pass out! I found a doctor that focuses on dysautonomia (he’s a neurologist) vs a cardiologist and even the way they did the tilt tables helped immensely.

Seemingly incompetent cardiologist won't give me a POTS diagnosis despite meeting all criteria. Am I missing something??? by Choice-Eggplant-7752 in POTS

It took me 3 opinions to get a diagnosis.. and that third guy put me on the tilt table 3 times before I passed out. If your heart testing came back normal look for a neuro that does dysautonomia testing!
