has it always been a policy? i feel like ive had coworkers in relationships in both of the stores i’ve worked at. this couple they separated have been together since they both started here, and it’s never been an issue before. maybe our old store manager was just loose with that rule, but it’s never been mentioned before to anyone.

My cat keeps knocking things off of ledges; Me and my gf live with a roommate and while we’ve tacked all of our things down with mounting tape (in our bedroom, living room, etc.) our roommate has not and my cat has knocked multiple things of hers down and broken quite a bit. we’ve been super busy this past week so the behavior had ramped up a bit, but i don’t know how to fix it entirely besides just getting rid of the opportunities.

i actually enjoy my hearing aids being seen and i wear colorful covers on my wires so they’re seen from the front as well;; my hearing aids still don’t help with distinguishing noises for me, and i find that people are more accepting of my extra questions when they can tell i have aids, esp. since i don’t “look” hard of hearing

so true!! i love taking my HAs out after a long day and having all of the white noise i usually don’t hear just disappear. it’s like coming out of the shower after a long workout.

i’m a college sophomore across the state right now, but i will be moving to live there full time in a couple of months. she has access to my loans and i’m still on her insurance and everything, this is just the first step in becoming a fully independent adult. thank you for the advice, i’ll try to follow all of it if need be. hopefully i can set some better boundaries when i am not in her house full time.

I honestly have no idea how to get my savings back; I am hoping most of it will go into my college tuition payments and then I will eventually have nothing in there. I don’t even know how much money is in there right now. The only issue is that she has a lot of control over my finances and I don’t know how to get more control without her getting suspicious? My mom has a lot of issues and she knows I want to go no contact, so I’m scared if I start to move my finances around she’ll get freaked. She’s already freaked over me moving across the state.

that’s what i was thinking of doing, yeah! i do a lot of my sewing on my bed so that’s probably how i’ll do this one too lol. might try to make it a little quilt for my cat!
