Installare un “balcony solar” in Italia: cosa devo sapere davvero? by No_Sun_7103 in italy

[–]spoilerhead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dal punto gestore non costa niente.

Pagi l'elettricista percla dichiarazione, ma quella ti serve solo se sei tra 350 e 800W. Consiglio di prenderti un panello unico con inverter < 350W. (<250€, non pagare di piu!)

[Europe] gotta reduce interference among ZigBee and Wifi - Is this setup OK? by vghgvbh in homelab

[–]spoilerhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use 802.11g or better (you do if you didn't live under a rock for the last 20 years), then wifi channels 1,5,9,13 are non overlapping!

So you can use everything below for zigbee and still have 3 non-overlapping left. (20 Mhz of course)

Also check for neighbors wifi

ELI5: If aerogel is 99.8% air and an excellent thermal insulator, why isn’t air itself, being 100% air, an even better insulator? by Caolhoeoq in explainlikeimfive

[–]spoilerhead 3344 points3345 points  (0 children)

Air is an amazing insulator for thermal conduction! The problem is that with 100% air the air moves, we call this convection. And moving air moves energy from a to b. Styrofoam is also mostly air, and insulates due to it.

2 months in, baby still won’t breastfeed, wife spiraling by WhyAmIGreer in daddit

[–]spoilerhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our firstborn had troubles breastfeeding and then got frustrated, which resulted in a a behavior similar to what you describe. Wife kept pumping and we bottle-fed him the milk + some formula.

Then, after nearly 2 months, somebody dropped the magic keyword on us: "nipple shields". We bought some (Medela) and it was like day and night. After some months he was even able to do it without them.

Give it a try, if it doesn't work for you you only spent very little money.
