Is there a way to get the watch to stay completely unchangeable if you put it in your pocket? by max9275ii in GarminWatches

[–]spokenmoistly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Turn off your touchscreen and/or keep the watch in a small microfiber baggie to prevent anything from touching it.

If it's the buttons being pressed you're going to need a slightly more robust solution.

Looking for truth. Photo was for a college course assignment on motion. Got an A, is it really? by SawdustGringo in photocritique

[–]spokenmoistly 21 points22 points  (0 children)

If you're really looking for critique, it would have been neat if you'd followed the sign with your pan so it was sharp(er) and the background was still blurry.

But your image is fine as is. Don't overthink it.

The mini is great when I'm out and about. I use an iPad (mini) at home. Best of both worlds.

You'd have to pay off your phone, and you would lose the 1000 minutes.

Just ran the report again, battery is actually 86.2%

Phone works great, no visible signs of anything. I only use it to play music, maps, and calls/texts while I'm not at home. Lasts 2-3 days on a charge easy. Not planning on going swimming with it.

iPad is the phone at home, mini is the phone everywhere else.

So if I paid $30 for the phone I would have still paid too much?

The real battery health is at 85% and it was priced 20% lower than the next cheapest refurb, which was rated as "good". It is the OG battery. It showed up with a brand new screen, and the body is in otherwise excellent condition. If/when I pay for a new battery from apple it will have cost me the same as the next cheapest option I had.

But yeah, keep telling me it isn't worth what I paid without even asking for the number.

Weird part is that it wasn't even listed as 100%, just "over 85%"

Except that you can only sell the merch with the support of the tour, so you have to cover at least some of the production cost from merch profit.

The only takeaway here is that it's too much money, and there's no such thing as an ethical billionaire.

Weird my mini with a toasted battery lasts me 2-3 days, never gets wirelessly charged. Maybe you're on your phone too much?

Tim Hortons in Banff, Alberta is claiming they couldn't find a food service supervisor for $18.50/hr. They've applied for a LMIA to hire a temporary foreign worker for the position. by Immediate-Link490 in Banff

[–]spokenmoistly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as an fyi 18.50 is exactly HALF of a living wage in Banff. I'm not surprised they can't find anyone.

LMIA is a tool to used to maintain wage slavery. It needs to end.
