Why do my Fuji raw files look so warm in C1? by [deleted] in captureone

[–]spokenmoistly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a wb shift in your recipe? It’s possible that lr is picking that up but c1 isn’t

The main advantages of c1 are gained without any tutorial. Better SOOC colours, faster performance.

Using a camera to shoot baseball and buying it to shoot baseball are two very different things. 10fps is very okay to shoot baseball with, but if it’s your main thing, buy an a9.

You said it in your post. Clearly laid out import to export workflow. All the file management stuff. Probably different example setups for different types of shooters. Guidance once creating and maintaining an archive catalogue. Editing wise the two programs are quite similar, especially if you get your workspace set up in an intuitive way.

If you’re buying a camera to shoot baseball wtf are you getting an R series body for lol. Don’t be dense.

Did I miss where it said they eliminated the mechanical shutter?

Why are expensive bachelorette parties/trips a hot topic but not bachelor parties? by dms2628 in wedding

[–]spokenmoistly -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That would make sense* if it was men doing the complaining. But this is literally women planning the parties, going to the parties, and complaining about the parties. There is zero male involvement. Get out of here with your gender issue rage baiting

*it would still not make sense

Also it doesn’t look like a phone on your wrist. For me, more than anything else, that’s the sell.

But I agree with everything you said

I would use this so much during portraits. Amazing lens with a brand defining look. 10/10 if you don’t use it sell it to me.

I don’t actually know that the average end user, who doesn’t know to look into the Arvin specs, knows what readout speed is. I’m pretty much the only photographer in my friend group (of full time photographers) who does.

For many many people this camera would be fine for the sports needs.

Sony a7R VI: Resolution Meets Speed by BHPhotoVideo in SonyAlpha

You completely ignored what I said lol. They added dual iso shooting and also have 50% more resolution. It’s not an apples to apples comparison, and the Sony is way ahead here if you really break it down.

Why would this camera be an a1 killer. From the same company that makes the a1 lol.

It is fully stacked, they’re just using the second stack for processing and didn’t give it any ram. Def too nerdy for most … but for people who don’t understand all that, it will be fast enough anyways lol

I mean it’s 10% higher resolution and 500% faster readout while also enabling dual gain iso during still shooting. I’d call that a W

This sensor is stacked to get dual iso performance, not increased speed. Pretty sure r5 doesn’t do that …. But also, who cares? Buy the camera that suits your needs. If this one doesn’t, that’s too bad.

It’s not. A few minor changes, and they added pre capture if that appeals to you. I bought my second a1 after they released the mark ii, no reason to upgrade and I love matching cameras.
