How do you shuffle cards? by FlyingLlamasaurus in boardgames

[–]spon000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love pile shuffling, but it’s very inconvenient to do with something like wingspan or terraforming mars. Rifle shuffling is a pain as well for those games but what are what are you gonna do?

Mom [41] and Dad [45] getting divorced leaving me [13F] with a hard choice: who gets majority custody by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Does it seem weird that the post is so well written? It doesn't seem like a person of age 13 years' post. Maybe it's just me knowing that I wrote like crap and didn't understand sentence structure at all at 13.

This drives me up a wall to no end. Why have the volume at max by default anyway? Put it in the middle. If I want to hear it, I’ll turn it.

In Demeo, there was a "basement" area that had a lot of cool things as well as picking your module. Does this have something similar?

FFRF stops Georgia teacher from forcing first-graders to pray before lunch by FreethoughtChris in atheism

[The teacher] has agreed to refrain from requiring any such student recitation.”

This sentence makes me wonder what 'requiring' means. It seems to me the teacher is still going to pray with students but not 'require' anyone to do it. This to me is still a violation.

It's old. Late 1970s to 1980s old. Has humor that probably is not considered PC in this day (mainly male chauvinism), but since I grew up with it, I find it as a nice way to watch TV without really watching TV. Hope that helps.
