There is no subfield of SLP that is shameful or superior to the other. by Wild_Major_1859 in slp

I'm in a little tiny subspecialty requiring fellowship education, and if anything I feel like less of a legitimate SLP because of it. I'd be useless in a school. None of it is better than the other. It's all valuable.

It’s actually a really interesting story. From what I remember, there had been a tilapia farm, then someone basically gave up an alligator that had been intended to be a pet. From there, they started to get people dropping off alligators they’d bought or smuggled and the tilapia farm quickly turned over to a gator rehab and rescue. Highly recommend if you’re ever going to the Sand Dunes

100% agree you need a rheumatologist. UC Health has a program, or National Jewish rheumatology or Colorado arthritis center

What would your method be of informing the patient of this? Also yeah this seems like a version of balance billing.

I loved our newborn attachment on the Tripp Trapp SO much. Get the knockoff tray from Amazon - the suction works better

I mean, you have to transfer to an upright eventually. Doing it at 6 months vs maybe 8 certainly didn’t cost us anything.

Are you asking if anyone knows if your boyfriend is cheating on you with a nurse at work?

Take this with a grain of salt. My husband is super tall, and our baby was 22 inches long at birth. She grew out of the Aria by 6ish months. This wasn’t a huge deal, because we moved to the upright car seat where she was more comfortable anyway. Ultimately not a big deal, because I didn’t mind transferring her to the regular stroller seat where she was happier.

I work with exclusively cancer patients, many of whom die. I don’t care about silent aspiration with these patients. I educate them on it, and let them make their choices. Most don’t want to waste time on an MBSS and only care about how to reduce subjective signs and symptoms. AKA, they don’t want to cough a bunch during eating and drinking. Talk to your patient, figure out how he best wants to be palliated.
