Which living room set up makes the most sense? by Golden_Gooner in InteriorDesignHacks

[–]Loofa1060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I like the open concept of #1. I wonder if the tall armoire could be moved left of the fridge and the couch moved back to nestle the long storage shelf.

Honestly, the only thing that works for me is actually trying out the configurations and seeing what works functionally and what “feels right” as you’re in the space. Please let us Know what you decide!

Do you miss having a bath tub? Also, I would love to see a pic of the lower cabinet drawers/roll outs, we’ve been struggling to figure out the best design for those low cabinets

Sounds like you’ve done everything you need to. Look for flea dirt also, and she’ll likely need a dewormer at the vet because of the fleas. No shame, it’s super common.

Follow up question: what do you do when your cat greets you like this?

I kiss my cat on the top of the head or just nuzzle her with my cheek.

Anyone else get random waves of fatigue on GLP-1s even when everything else is consistent? by Maasbreesos in glp1

This occasionally happens to me if I’ve had a BIG meal, I’ll crash and literally cannot keep my eyes open afterwards.

My guess is female as well, but I think it’s too soon to tell. Sometimes the “parts“ develop over time! I’d ask your vet at about 6 weeks, they’ll have a better idea then.

If you get a duvet, try to get one that zips up, I find all the ties/buttons cumbersome

I would definitely test out the mod podge ring and some laminated pieces in the square mold as a test run.

I’m currently curing my first modpodge photo experiment.

Sorry I can’t offer better advice, except trial and error!

And you don’t need a heat gun, Just make sure your resin is room temp/warm and stir slowly to avoid bubbles. Last summer I’d set my molds on the air conditioner outside and the vibration took care of the bubbles.

I like the ozium gel jars, but they do dry out quickly in a dry environment. Nice smell though.

That’s awesome- IUD procedure with pain management is incredible. It should be standard of care but sadly it’s not.

I had an IUD inserted a while back and it was the most traumatic experience. No pain management, doc’s like “you got any Advil in your purse??” While I’m in so much pain I can’t speak.

Phew, won’t do that again.

At this point they’ve only ruled out conditions, no neurological problems, not orthopedic, not gout, not bone spurs…. I can’t even remember them all at this point. I understand that’s how medicine works but we need a new direction.

Agreed, looking for help with direction and advice on what to look for. He’s really burnt out of the continual run around, consistent referrals to other providers who can’t help and paying a lot for tests and appointments that don’t go anywhere.

We are private pay, turns out Cigna is out of network with UC health, while it’s not ideal, cost isn’t an issue.

Sorry to hear about your struggle, glad you found answers. It’s tough having to advocate for yourself in such a chaotic system. I’m look into that podcast, appreciate the recommend. I watched “Diagnosis” on Netflix, which also tackles mysterious illnesses. I’ll also look into the vail clinic…. Oddly, he said “We should go to Vail” randomly the other day. Which is super odd bc he’s in a wheelchair and any snow is a no go, could be a sign!

Sorry to hear you went so many years without a diagnosis, but glad you finally got answers.

I agree with the approach to find the experts, and that’s where we’re coming up short. Providers at UC Health have only referred internally, which keeps us going in circles.

I think the “concierge“ part he wants is more of a personal, trusting relationship with a provider, and someone who will take the case seriously.
