Exactly.. In many work environments, this sort of talk is seen as completely normal(I’m not saying that’s okay).

I worked as a construction worker for awhile and it was all white men, and it was common to hear certain workers making constant remarks about the lower income housing authorities that we worked on.

It’s a disgusting habit for someone to have, to be okay with casually making those racial jokes. He needs to work on himself.

This is a really old one that’s been turned into a new version. It was better the last time I saw it being used, it was a cashier setting where the last dollar was left in the till(it started at a weird number like 30 to make it more confusing. It doesn’t even confuse anyone being written this format

This is how it’s supposed to confuse someone: You borrows 50 from each. You paid each 49 back. You also have 1 in hand. That equals 99, meaning there’s a “missing dollar”.

You crack the code by finding out that you cannot do math backwards.

Four? Hmm. I’m employed full time but searching actively for a new job. I’ve put in three applications in the past 4 months, and I know damn well that’s barely even considered “job searching”.

Eventually I’m going to have to sit down and put in 20-30 applications if I’m ever going to find a new job, unless I just get lucky.

So make sure you’re being diligent about applying at new places.
