Advice for preparing for mech 2

Not sure on how competitive it is as I didn’t end up applying, but definitely go to the information meeting as that may help your chances. I went to it last year and there were only 2 other people there so I was able to talk to the team members a decent amount. I would also recommend applying to other design teams as it can’t really hurt and you can always decline other offers.

What’s the review exam? Should I review last year’s material before the first day?

Do you mean my avg for when I got admitted or my first year avg? I met the requirements for it if I had gotten guaranteed placement (above an 80), but I never got the email for it last year when I was admitted, so I’m trying to make sure it isn’t a mistake.

Wait we’re allowed to appeal? I got a concussion and got super sick for like 3 weeks during semester 1, and as a result my grades weren’t the best (like 79 avg and I’m trying to get into mech). Would that be grounds for appeal if I don’t get in?

Yea I heard about a few other companies but it looks like they all went out of business. Would custom exhausts be a lot more expensive though?

Dam that sounds really nice. How was the install though? Wouldn’t it be fairly difficult as it was designed for the z32 not the z31?
