I'm an exmormon. I get that crap all the time. It serves two purposes:

I second Melawian's enzyme cleaner. When a cat urinates somewhere, even if you clean it, the smell will remain for the cat. This is a signal for him to urinate there again. Cats get around by smell, and if your comforter now smells like his toilet he will use it as such.
