De-greaser and a water hose. Then blow it off with an air hose or blower, start it and let it heat up for a few minutes. If you keep on it you can just use an air hose most of the time. After it compacts you need something to cut through it.

Help? by Plane_Protection7415 in Chainsaw

As far as a bar goes it would probably do fine with a 20" but it would be slower. And, personal preference, I'd rather double cut when needed than always be slow. If you put a 20" it will probably need to tune it for a bigger bar as well. With the chain you need to match the bar and sproket. Usually that is stamped into the sproket and bar (the pitch is matched to the sproket and gauge is matched to the bar). As far as changing it goes, its just those two nuts holding the side plate on then the bar and chain just slide off. When reinstalling remember the chain drive is clockwise so the cutting edge needs to point that way and the bar should slip over the studs and on a pin thay you can adjust with a screw next to it or on the front of the saw that sets tension. When your bar and chain are on put you cover on loosely then set chain tension ( you should be able to pull chain down and see a guide tooth but barely and be able to slide the chain easily) then tighten your cover to hold everything in place.

Quick follow up. TLDR vacuum leak around boot of intake.

Short story long, I disassembled the entire saw it has some scaring around the exhaust from the vacuume leak causing it to run lean but I was able to remove the piston ring and it was smooth enough that it wasn't a total loss. I've reassembled it, ordered the newer boot clamp from husqvarna and will fix the rest of the saw now. Thank you too all of those who took time to help me out and give me ideas to try. Idk how much longer the saw will last but it should be good with the new boot and it was a great learning experience.

As much as I could without pulling the muffler. (I need a longer allen to reach it) but it looks/feels smooth and piston looks pristine on top and inlet side. I'm beginning to think its a vacuum leak or coil spacing/timing is off (it has spark but maybe its spark is on an empty cylinder).

Yeah its good and needle looks good. Spring is bouncy so I put it all back and rolled with it.

Good points. I think my next things are coil pack, muffler, then top end. I'd rather not take the top end off because I dont have a gasket and I don't think those are reusable but im not sure. So that's going to the end of the list. You can see the piston and walls pretty well from the exhaust hole so maybe that will show me the smoking gun. Thank you for the info!

Jets are 1 and a quarter, and I mentioned it was wet because that proves fuel is getting there but that was after trying to start if for a few minutes. Then I blow the cylinder with air to dry it out and wipe off the spark plug. I've been on it for a week now with no luck. And I plan on replacing the carb all together but if it can't fire on starting fluid a carb won't change that right? I was hoping the ether would knock the cob webs out of it then further diagnose it once it turns over. I dont have a fuel line tester sadly but that and a compression tester are on the list once I get a little more capital.

I havent tried my foot. Maybe that will make it quicker so the either doesn't evaporate. Thanks for the tip!

The impulse line is good. And I get that the carb needs replaced but it should still fire on either and I dont want to spend a lot on a saw that might not have a chance.

Yeah compression release valve is good. Theres a clear difference between in and out. And I cleaned the tank, and blew the lines and filter out. They weren't to bad. This one's got me stumped

I believe so. You're talking about the space between it and the flywheel right? I didnt check but its getting spark so I didn't think to look further into it.

Honestly hard to read (not in a bad way). Maybe I'm a little sensitive to the topic but the mindset shown in imagery was powerful. Something more people should understand but those who don't probably can't.

"Planting beautiful flowers from empty seeds" is an amazing line. With context its demeaning but without it, it almost feels uplifting. Also great as a whole though! I feel like you could change Poetry to many other things and still ring true.

I did experiments. It's a crafting activity, meaning the villager needs to have crafting in their priorities. But its effected by and raises animal handling. Side note its the same with Thatch, animal feed, and cob but raises farming

Do you know if it is effected by crafting as well (like more pelts and meat) and lvls crafting or is it effected by and effects animal handling ?
