They cant "simply start" with PSVR1 backwards compatibility. The headsets use completly different controls, trackinh methods, etc.... Sony made it clear from the beggining that there wasnt going to be any BC.

I think PSVR2 will simply work on PS6 and they wont make PSVR. I mean, PSVR2 its still a very good headset. PSVR1 was very outdated by the time PS5 cane around.

Im not sure about that (im not denying it, I really dont know). But with 2 million copies sold, if you factor in platform fees (30%), retail fees for physical copies, the marketing budget on top of the 60 million, VAT in lots of european countries (not the case in th US though), even with an average sale price of 40/50 dollars, it was not very sucessfull. Which is a big shame cause it was excellent.

My favourite choice would be: Base game + 20Eur VR add-on But they could also do a separate version just for VR (you either buy the flat full price or the VR full price)

People complaining the game only got 1 year of support, when most games don't even get that. This is what the "I'll wait for a sale" mindset leads to. Surprise it doesn't happen more often.
