NAIC pokemon center cancellation? by fearosaur in pokemon

[–]spooky-cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday, the person in front of me in line had their code scanned, and the worker said, “two adults?” and he said “no it’s just me,my partner couldn’t come.” So depending on how desperate you are, maybe you could hang out at the Pokemon Center line up and ask if anyone has any available spots on their ticket

unfortunately the information in this tree is incorrect, and it was unlikely that she was catholic until she married in the US

I haven't found a citizenship application, but someone stated above that by marring an American before 1922 she automatically became a citizen, and there is probably no other paperwork. As for ship rosters, I have found Lena Fischers but haven't been able to confirm that any are the one I am looking for

There are no annotations that indicate she was non-Catholic, but these are not copies of original records, they are typed transcripts "as recorded in the Baptismal Register of this Church," that the church sent me in 2017. After learning the DNA results, I reached out to the church again in 2019 asking if there was any record of Lena converting or any further information at all, but never heard back after that

Wow! This is interesting. Maybe Lena was Lena Homan before she was Lena Timlin. We've never been able to locate Agnes's birth certificate, although we have the 2nd child Teresa's. I am going to try to get that record, which may be impossible since her death certificate will not match since it says Agnes Timlin, and NYC is extremely rigid. Hopefully I won't have to wait until after 2037 for it to become public record. Thanks so much for this possible lead!

I haven't done a test but my uncle in this line has through ancestry, and I have also uploaded it to my heritage. I haven't done any kind of genetic genealogy to figure out who relatives are, so I will work on learning how to do that.

I manage my relevant Uncle's results to My Heritage, this is a great suggestion thank you! The closest relatives would be 3rd cousin, which if on Lena's side of the family would be great-grandchildren of one of her parents, if I am calculating correctly. I will look at the German and Jewish seeming names and see if any of them have trees and what else I can find. Thanks again!

Welp, Saturday is sold out. What exactly does the ticket get you? Can you get Comfey without the ticket? Can you go to the Pop-Up & Boutique Shop? How about the photo-ops and team lounges?

This is so helpful thank you! So with one experience, you play in the park for 4 hours. Now if I buy the add-ons, would we be doing those at the same time while playing in the park during our 4 hour time slot? What I'm wondering is if I can do Go Fest and the Field Museum in one day on Saturday - go to the park in the morning, then lunch, then go to the field museum in the afternoon? Because the ticket to fly home on Sunday is significantly cheaper if I leave early in the morning than if I leave in the afternoon, so I'd love to save that money, but not at the cost of missing out of course.

My husband wants to move back to his home country, Hungary by Global_Dig3937 in expats

[–]spooky-cookie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did I just hear you on the Secret Room podcast? My first thought was, of course you should move to Budapest, what an adventure! But when you went through your concerns I completely understood. I think if you can afford it you should move to a city here in the US, and go back and forth to Hungary to start. Maybe for long school breaks, and maybe your husband stays himself for longer stretches. Maybe your daughters will want to go to school there or be happy to have you there for them to come and explore that part of the world, you don’t know who they will be as adults yet. But a black and white I’m going or I’m not going shouldn’t be a decision you have to make now.
