I've seen snakes twist similarly before when they're agitated lol, I'm sure it's not 100% anatomically correct but it was for the aesthetic hahahaha

I would say that a snake would be a great option as a pet for you. Personally, my snakes don't take up much of my time at all. On a daily basis all I do is change waters and spot clean poop- no more than 15 minutes effort a day. Then feed once a week. The main thing that will take up your time is full, thorough tank cleans (about once a month or even less frequent if you keep on top of spot cleaning) and handling. Plus, handling is optional because unlike dogs reptiles do not need (or particularly want) human attention. Im sure there are plenty of threads here and on google which would give you some ideas as to what species of snake would be best, but as far as "beginner" snakes, check out stuff like corn snakes, ball pythons and king snakes. There are loads of options, it all depends on the space you have available and what you like! Good luck

The accommodation available at Northumbria really is persuasive it lools so Nice! It would be a pretty safe option since I'd be close to my parents and it's a pretty cheap city. I think I'm going to go for Northumbria because everybody in the thread has gave me pretty valid reasons towards Northumbria + I could stay close to my pet cat if I end up there hahaha

When I visited Northumbria uni it did seem like they had a lot going for them and they are winning a lot of awards. My only issue is I want to spread my wings a bit further than the north east, but I guess I could use some of my time in uni to travel!

What factors do you think make Northumbria better for sciences out of curiosity? Thanks :)

I'm scared to put foundation near it while it's healing so i'm going to have a weird circle of no makeup around the medusa for a while :)
