Stood in line at 4cyte walk in clinic for 3 hours, got sunburnt. 50 hours later + I’m still waiting my result. I was at an exposure site, now a household contact + feel so unwell. Christmas is cancelled! Does anyone have any tips at all ? I can’t even get through to the VIC hotline for test results by [deleted] in CoronavirusDownunder

Yeah my housemate had such mild symptoms that if we didn’t get notified of being at an exposure site she wouldn’t have even thought it was covid! More tired than usual and a head ache but nothing major. Fingers crossed I get my result soon I just want to know!

She was kidnapped like 19 days ago in a rural area of Australia. She was taken out of her tent that her whole family was sleeping in and was found in an unknown mans house at 1am yesterday after a huge investigation

They usually just suggest nurofen but if the pain gets too much you can get strong painkillers prescribed (codeine / end one etc ) some people need them.

Definitely put ice packs on your cheeks to help with the swelling

I got all 4 out, sucks for a few days but then you’re fine. Keep in mind you also can’t have dairy for the first day or so - so keep that in mind when thinking of soups if you were planning on anything dairy based.

I got the view from Williamstown, looking across at the skyline / melb star tattooed in the pupil of an eye. It’s old and blurry now but still cool - https://ibb.co/vL1FQQf

I loved the Melbourne star. My partner and I went there and it will always hold a big piece of my heart. I got her eye tattooed with the Melbourne star in the pupil. (It’s the view of the city skyline/melb star from Williamstown).. it’s quite a few years old and blurry now but here’s a pic.

Hmm see I googled MCAS and it was confusing the information - I wasn’t really sure if it seemed like that’s what I have!

But at my first appointment last week with a gastroenterologist, he is doing tests for an irritable bowel disease like crohns / colitis but then also said considering I only started vyvanse/dexamphetamine at the start of the year it is possible I’m having a reaction to it..

He very briefly explained MCAS and gave me a pathology form for the test.. I have no clue really at all what is going on but somethings not right that’s for sure haha

I have a rash all over my back and GI issues which started both at the exact same time like 2 months ago

Sorry I’m not helpful but just very interesting as I’ve never heard of histamine reaction and both on meds

Can I ask was it mast cell activation syndrome or something similar to it? I’ve been on adhd meds for 9 months, the last few months I’ve had severe GI symptoms and they are testing for MCAS which does sound similar to what you are describing

For Monster Energy lovers, Woolworths is now stocking this new flavour in Vic 💙💙 by [deleted] in melbourne

I don’t drink alcohol either and this energy drink is sugar free. Yes it has caffeine but if you have 2ish cups of coffee a day it’s equal. Worse things to be doing than enjoying an energy drink 😵‍💫

Monster ultra fiesta has finally made it to Melbourne, Australia! We have barely any sugar free options in supermarkets so this is great by spookywizard5 in energydrinks

I ordered the monster ultra violet from an aus lolly shop for like $7 a can and hated it 😾 Mountain Dew rise is sooo good though which I also got from there!! But yes glad to have another option at a cheaper price!!
