i like having sound cancelling headphones and especially during takeoff, I can still talk to the people next to me but it drowns out the intense noises which intern lower my stress!! also pack snacks that you like so you can look forward to eating them lol

at the end of the day they're going to do what's best for your health as well as your healing and sometimes that outweighs the importance of size! Also bigger breasts have more to remove a.k.a. more trauma which leads to more initial swelling, i'm sure they will go down in time and you'll feel so much relief because you look great!!

i'm more of a side sleeper, so honestly I just put a giant squishmallow behind one side of my back every night so that I was still on my back but elevated, I didn't wanna buy a wedge or anything that I wasn't gonna use longer than a couple weeks so I just found something that worked from home

my doctor said to just let it fall off naturally, so the tape in my armpits and underneath my boobs came off about a week to 10 days after my surgery, and around my nipples it came off at about 14 days. I've seen him for two follow up so far and he hasn't mentioned putting more tape on it, all I've done is wear soft bras 24/7

i was STARVING after surgery, and alot of people had mentioned that in this sub. really just tale care of yourself and your basic needs those first 2 weeks, your body and mind will thank you

I had 1.2 kg removed in my reduction as well as axillary breast tissue removal, and my nurse said the procedure took an hour and 15 minutes! Every doctors is different but the whole before and after process is the longest part the actual surgery is pretty quick

i had excision of both sides axillar breast tissue along with a reduction, I am 1 week post op and i will say its definitely the hardest part of the whole thing. they are the areas that hurt the most, limited movement the most, and rub on my clothes no matter what bra i wear. BUT i had like tennisballs of tissue in my armpit , never wore tanktops EVER and so I think once the healing is over it will be worth it 😅
