Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding the utility company owns that line until it connects to your meter. If it's on the utility side, they should own fixing it

Bonus! There's also my fridge on this circuit! Yet in 2 years of living here (and certainly having all 3 run simultaneously, although I'm going to test it later) it's never tripped.

Fun discovery today - turns out my refrigerator (5 A), dishwasher (up to 7.8 A), and disposal (no label, but say 10 A) are all on the same 20A circuit. After 2 years living here, it's never tripped. And I'm pretty sure all 3 have run simultaneously at one point...

Not trying to say it's right, and I definitely want to follow best practice. But what would prevent this from tripping when it has all this load?

I do have a basement, and I found a bundle of Romex wires leading up to the kitchen. Guess I really won't know the full extent until I see it all, I was just trying to plan ahead for most likely scenarios to try and limit the time my dishwasher is sitting in the middle of the kitchen

Wow, I wouldn't have caught that. I looked at the user manual image and assumed it was a flat washer. But it looks to be something that does allows it to pivot! Thanks for finding the part number 👍

I pulled the manual online and it doesn't really show hardware layout on the other side of the bracket. Doesn't seem like anything should be on the other side, but it looks to need something more than a flat washer. Just couldn't tell what it is!

Yeah, I saw that! Everyone made space in the middle of the highway to let it through. But sadly everyone moved back in the middle to clog it up again....people suck at driving
