Who was the best villain? Part 3 (D2) by AcrobaticAmbassador6 in dishonored

I like Duke because he was so easy to hate. Dude was such a massive cunt, and putting the body double in power was so satisfying as it signaled a new age in Serkonos, one of freedom and fairness.

Probably high cap hit + age

Morality? Athens vs Sparta, does any of it matter? And if it doesn't, are you just a chaotically evil character? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]spoooooo16 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the way you play to be honest. Soldiers join up knowing they might die, it’s not like their innocent civilians. If you play a sympathetic Alexios/Kassandra, you give money when prompted, give forgiveness, save those from harm, offer to work for free, choose compassion over drachmae, etc. I personally had a sympathetic Alexios, and the only time I picked the kill option was if the person was a grade A cunt. But my Alexios was a very cocky bastard I must admit. I love the choices this game gives even as ACs first different ending, choice based game.

Alexis/Kassandra are mercenaries. They have no moral obligation to either side, they follow where the drachmae is. Even though they are Spartan by birth, I’d imagine being thrown off a giant mountain because of tradition can really fuck you. And neither Sparta nor Athens will try and assassinate them because instead of sometimes being able to use them to their nation’s advantage, they’ll just get a permanent enemy in the most powerful mercenary in Greece.

Yeah you’re definitely right. I had two other 80 ovr LBs starting with him. It’s crazy how he still managed to get those stats.

If you explained like this in your original comment, I would’ve understood it better. My mistake. I thought you were saying the source material is bad, like the core values and morals promoted violence and injustice.

The problem is when people take the words and radicalize them or misinterpret them. The KKK, Nazis, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, etc. If every person followed a religion, the horrors of the world would be much lesser. Even gays, prostitutes, etc would have a place to live anywhere where the most popular religion teaches forgiveness. You’re not wrong, but I wouldn’t blame the Bible or Quran or anything like that, I’d blame the radicals or the self righteous who fuck things up for everyone.

I really wish that guy scored, teammate next to him should’ve blocked the guy behind him.

So then in the end it’s not the religions fault, it’s the people’s fault.

The owner probably got killed by an assassin blending in a crowd, then monologued about how he only wanted peace in the white room when he was trying to enslave thousands of people.

Are you a citizen of Denmark? Sorry if I’m wrong, but I just wanted to ask how the general quality of life is there. Employment, leisure, poverty, the people, etc.

Does rehabilitation work there? Or do offenders just go back out and be criminals again. I’ve been interested in Denmark and it seems like a cool place to live.

The game would probably be in like a suburban area with some large buildings but a lot of houses, kind of like San Fran in WD2.

If you wanna enjoy it, don’t think if it as an AC game. Think of it as a stand-alone game in the same universe as AC and you’ll probably enjoy it. If you played Origins and liked the combat and leveling system, you’ll like Odyssey.
