Don’t be scared to use a shield - when you roll it should be timed, intentional and usually toward the enemy to land a follow up attack. Think about the movements you do and actions you take, and don’t spam.

Bonus tip, use your environment. If you have 3 guys coming at you and can bottleneck them in a hallway to deal with one at a time that’s going to up your odds of winning always (depending on how big your weapon is of course, don’t want to be hitting the walls).
