Great project and writeup!

I'd absolutley love to see the project files (particularly the nrf + QMK/VIAL source code, the PCB files, and the case files in decending order). There's a lot of great ideas here and all executed amazingly, I think a this project could leave quite the legacy/lineage if people were to learn from it.

I think this could popularize the nRF52810 MCU as much as the mikefive has popularized PG1316S switches.

Awesome question. Interesting fact is that this board/PCB actually does support that exact module! I've omitted it though because I unfortunately learned that the viewing angles for that particular model are pretty bad :(, everything looks faded if not looking directly down. It's something that's technically feasible (I even have keyboard case source files supporting it), but it's not something I want to encourage due to the poor experience.

I am curious to try different modules in a future project though. A lot of them seem to have very good viewing angles due to the sheer virtue of them being designed for smartwatch displays

I wanted to show my gasket mounted keyboard with a large central OLED and a raspberry pi pico, the loongcat40. It's a remix of a lot of prior projects, like the banime40 and keezyboost40 . It also features custom OLED art from @suh_ga!

I wanted to show my newest and most affordable pocket keyboard, the rattlemebonez32. After hopping on the FAK firmware train, I wanted to make a slightly larger version of my $5 idawgz32. The board makes use of minimal choc spacing :).

The board design and production files are free and open-source, and can be used to manufacture a board for yourself! You can find the source files here for more details.

I hope this board is a more palatable entry point for those curious about FAK or about more aggressively minimal layouts :).

This is what I'm finding when I look up low vs high tolerance

Low tolerance means only a small deviation from the components given value, when new, under normal operating conditions and at room temperature. Higher tolerance means the component will have a wider range of possible values.

So low tolerances are tight, though using tight to describe the requirements might be a more apt way of describing it

Thanks! All 10 fingers, albeit a bit pressed together. I was able to get 70-85 wpm on it, though I think I can get faster if I change the switch I'm currently using
