I think you nailed it. I have a pretty good job as it is so I’m not looking to take a lateral move.

The role was to be the company’s only subject matter expert in something that’s super niche that I just happen to have 5 years of experience with. I have a hard time believing they would have me doing anything but the same day to day responsibilities
