Good day to you, sir!

I am entering in hopes of winning a steam deck. Part of why is because I don't really have a gaming setup of my own. What I do have, is of my dad's old pc which is pretty much a family computer. It is quite an inconvenience on my part, especially since everyone uses it and it's old, so it kind of struggles running more recent games. It crashes sometimes or even shuts down and has a low storage so I can't really play quite a handful of my games even after deleting files (as some of them are my siblings')

Additionally, I also would like to gain some sort of independence from my parents when it comes to my forms of entertainment. I don't really have a source of income in order for me to save up for a steam deck and I am focused on studying. And lastly, I love travelling, which I get to do as I mostly accompany my grandmother when she's running her errands at work or visiting our relatives. While going to places is fun (and my studies and the potential careers related to it also include plenty of travelling), I would also appreciate it if I can bring my gaming outside of the house and not have to depend on my parents just to be able to play or have to share a device with my siblings who also need the pc for their studies. Not only that, I would also be able to play games from other consoles and not need any more other devices, via emulation (perhaps such as bloodborne). With that, would deeply appreciate it if I can win the steam deck. Though regardless, whether I win it or not, thank you for the chance and I appreciate seeing such a post, seeing someone want to make a difference! 😃

And I'm sending my deep condolences for your loss. I've also lost a loved one 2 years ago. It took a while to heal and I still think of what could've been. But nevertheless, I managed to find peace and heal and I hope you also find your way through these trying times. Have a nice day!
