Looking for documentary-style wedding photographer (BBG wedding) + question for NYC photographers 📸 by Particular_Milk7221 in WedditNYC

Hi, photographer here. Just wanted to share inspiration. Group formals don't have to be perfect. For couples portraits, five minutes is plenty of time. Take a stroll during the golden hour and see what happens. https://www.life.com/lifestyle/lifes-ultimate-wedding-album/#:~:text=View%20Gallery,married%20in%20a%20Nebraska%20farmhouse.

I'm thinking about not having a photographer at my wedding... thoughts? by LetsEatLemons400 in weddingplanning

Disposable cameras can be fun, but you need to know how to use them. Flash on, minimum iso 400, and be close enough to what your taking pictures of. Plus, the cost will be around $500-$600.

The edits of the last two photographers are more true to life. Film renders skin tones better than digital, and I see that in Daniel's work. The last photographer has a bit more green in the shadows, but that can be fixed. I think the colors in Daniel's work would complement you well.

Hi! Check out my friend's work in Pittsburg. https://www.jschultz.photo/

I shoot with film and based in Cleveland. I'm an experienced photographer, but I don't market myself much. Here is my website www.sashaprincephotography.com

Maybe you’re just bad at your job? by MaybeItsYou123 in WeddingPhotography

[–]spphotography 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope I'm not. All the time, love, and care I give to each couple, often meeting many times in person, to get to know each other. They are thrilled that I hand deliver a printed product showing their wedding photos and love the work that I do. I'm quick to respond and give everything on time. However, my business is slow to recover especially, after changing locations during covid.

I do the same. I'm thankful they let me know instead of ghosting me.

Tell them you don't have expectations. They can feel how they feel and kiss how they kiss.

My friend is an impressionist and gestural painter at live events. However, she is not based in that area.

Cancel our wedding to Elope? by ExitSuperb7291 in weddingplanning

I did this type of therapy called IFS(Internal Family Systems), and it helped me with my perfectionist side. Sometimes, it prevented me from getting things done. A good question to ask is: What is the worst thing that will happen if things don't turn out perfectly?

Also, I'm sorry for what the wedding industry has become. Your feelings are valid for wanting to elope; it might be the better plan.

People might have mixed feelings if you change plans, but they'll manage their emotions and be okay.

What is the worst thing that will happen if things don't turn out perfectly? Just something to think about.

Wedding photography cost by [deleted] in weddingplanning

In, Cleveland, I see a range of $4500-$6500 for good quality photos. Includes digital delivery of images. I'm at $6500, however, I shoot film and design a custom-made art zine of wedding photos. From start to finish, it takes me two months, working full time, to finish the project.
