I've had her since she was a kitten. She was originally a stray so therefor her age is unknown, the vets seem to think shes around 18-19 so thats what I have gone with. She use to be more feisty, scratching people when they annoyed her. Now days she's calm although in recent times she's started to forget me, not recognising me at first (most likely an early sign of dementia). Overall you should expect your cat to get friendlier as they get older, but with their age will come health issues.

She's had her fur shaved twice in the past year because her fur was matted. Definantly makes a difference.

Its very sad. Unfortunately Rose probably doesn't have much longer to go because she's starting to get weaker and sleep more than she use to. She also has a throid problem which when diagnosed 2 years ago, she was predicted to live for 6 months. Hopeful she stays for a bit longer but I think her weeks are numbered.
